Publisher's summary

When President Nixon launched the war on cancer with the signing of the National Cancer Act of 1971 and the allocation of billions of research dollars, it was amidst a flurry of promises that a cure was within reach. The research establishment was trumpeting the discovery of oncogenes - the genes that supposedly cause cancer. As soon as we identified them and treated cancer patients accordingly, cancer would become a thing of the past.

Fifty years later, it’s clear that the war on cancer has failed despite what the cancer industry wants us to believe. New diagnoses have continued to climb. One in three people in the United States can now expect to battle cancer during their lifetime. For the majority of common cancers, the search for oncogenes has not changed the treatment. We’re still treating with the same old triad of removing (surgery), burning out (radiation), or poisoning (chemotherapy).

In Cancer and the New Biology of Water, Thomas Cowan argues that this failure was inevitable because the oncogene theory is incorrect or at least incomplete and based on a flawed concept of biology in which DNA controls our cellular function and therefore our health. Instead, Dr. Cowan tells us the somatic mutations seen in cancer cells are the result of a cellular deterioration that has little to do with oncogenes, DNA, or even the nucleus. The root cause is metabolic dysfunction that deteriorates the structured water that forms the basis of cytoplasmic, and therefore, cellular health.

I appreciate the references thank you for putting this out in the open. More of this type of approach should be explored and presented openly.

Brave

In this day and age, an author writing a book like this is not something to be taken lightly or to go unacknowledged. Kudos for Dr. Cowan for speaking out. Fantastic book in all respects, whether or not you or someone you love has cancer, you will learn a lot and your health will improve.

Eye opening and Paradigm Shifting

I came upon Dr. Cowan's work a few months ago and I'm so glad I did. Yesterday, my wife and I were told that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. We're very hesitant to begin any treatment plan that involves the chemotherapy. We're both very thankful for all of the information Tom has put into this book. We look forward to researching and implementing these approaches into a more natural and holistic treatment plan.

Dr Tom’s Cancer and the New Biology of Water

After listening to this book a few times, I am so grateful for the content and depth of understanding shared by Dr Cowan. Having no axe to grind, no motive for huge profits, Dr C dives into the abject failure of the alleged Aaron cancer and the billions of our tax dollars spent on one philosophy. This single focus on Cut and Chemo for 50 years has limited the opportunity for new and old insights to find their way into modern research and development and ultimately into the lives of our fellows humans suffering from this terrible condition. Kudos to Dr Cowan for this deep dive into the journey of understanding Life itself and how our life forces, water, Potassium and Sodium are intimately related to our health and vitality. Thank you for this incredible body of work. Bobby G

Awesome book

Thomas Cowan’s work brings to the table aspects of health that are overlooked. As a physician I see this daily in the office. Patients are on drug after drug with no foreseeable resolve in sight. I have seen cancer resolve by applying the same principles listed in this book!
