I listen to a lot of mafia books, but this one really took the prize. I love how the main character just loves her and protects her and doesn’t force himself on her and just let her choose. Totally in love with him.

This book was wonderful. I was hooked and absolutely couldn’t put it down. My heart was beating so fast toward the end waiting to see if he would come for her. This story takes you on a journey of intrigue, passion, love and happily ever after.

This character has been such an integral part of other stories, so great to have a story just about him. Really great story line, nothing came easy but everything happened as it should. Great narrator voices!

I didn’t like the female lead, I understand she’s doesn’t know much about crime but come on she doesn’t have common sense? they made her out to be a child & just dimwitted. Her overall character was just really annoying. But I enjoyed the story and the other characters.

I did like the audiobook however the male voice sounded more Italian than Russian so it was very confusing about where he was from.

Beautiful love story that blooms in a fashion manner. Fast pace with a thrilling mafia plot.
It took me an extra effort to maintain the audiobook because the Russian accent from the male voice was too strong and annoyed me at some point. The female narrator performed the accent much better.
The story is engaging from the beginning and very well crafted to sweep you off your feet. Now, moving on to the next story.

This was a really enjoyable listen with strong characters—especially Adrusha, who completely stole the show. Despite his dangerous edge, his slow-burn connection with the heroine felt natural and never rushed. The romance was believable, the suspense kept things tense, and I liked how their bond built over time. I’ll definitely be checking out more from this author!
