I'm not completely sure
I enjoyed this book but there were some parts that needed further explanation for me, all of the daddy calling business was awkward and misplaced. I don't know where book 2 would even start. it's not in audio so I may never know.
I really enjoyed how they met negotiating the purchase of buildings. Maybe the male voice didn't give me sexy Russian daddy vibes. Something for me was off but it was a good book just the same.

Best Mafia Romance this year!!!
I love this Audiobook. It was filled with action, love, family, friends, and loyalty. I especially loved that Laura is a heroine female and knows how to shoot. Max was an amazingly supportive man! 5-star audiobook. Please keep up the great work. Can't wait for the next book! 😃😄

Great Listen
It’s great to be in this dark genre with a loving couple who work together. Both strong protagonists, they but heads often, yet get through. Them against the world. Unique twist ending. Love ❤️

Perrrrrrrfect book! I’d like to say thank you for attention to detail, I felt like I was there and like I didn’t miss anything going on in the back! Some books you walk away thinking, whateva happen to so and so or a side situation mentioned. Not this one, she touches on it again quick enough so get the point yet not interrupting the follow of the actual story!
