I love both main character

It was very good ! I was shocked when I found out who mr x was I had no clue very spicy 🌶️ loved it

Great Book

Great listen good story line always kept my attention and couldn’t wait to get back to it when I had to stop it for a while

Great voice acting

The voice acting was amazing. The story was good a fast paced story. Hitman romance

Okay read

Enjoyed listening the voice actors were great. The read was okay there were some holes in the story. *Spoiler* why did X decide to end his dealings with Roman did he find out she witnessed the alley murder or something else? How did Nana escape the guy sent to watch her, what happened to him in the end seeing as he was working for X, how did Nana sneak into the building unnoticed and hide behind the boxes seeing as there were cameras in the room?

What a wild ride!

I found yet another Hot 🔥 sexy, Suspense filled with twists and turns LISTEN! A few moments I found myself actually sitting on the edge of my seat. or the need to turn my fan on. the duel Narration of Rita Amos & Indy Chapin were outstanding! Awesome Author NICOLE FOX 👏 BRAVO 👏 ⚘💐⚘💖

Enjoyable

I’ve been wanting to try Nicole Fox for awhile now, and this was my first book. It was a freebie from the Audible Plus Catalog, and I notice it’s one of her older releases with one of her lowest ratings. It wasn’t my favorite mob romance, but I liked it enough to listen to the entire audiobook without increasing the speed or skipping chapters. It definitely kept my interest all the way through.

What I loved: Great character development, with backstories that gave both the MCs enough depth to be interesting. The romance and relationship plot line was nicely balanced with an action story arc. My positive feelings about the book were cemented in chapter 19. The 2nd part of that double twist was creative and heartwarming.

What I liked less: I’m all for insta lust when it’s well done. Many authors can write it in a way that feels natural and believable. In this case, I found it flat and awkward. In fact, the overall chemistry between the characters was lukewarm and meh. I did appreciate, however, that the author made their relationship about love instead of just sex. Even so, the love between them also felt flat and awkward a lot of the time.

Both narrators were good. The female narrator did a phenomenal job voicing male characters.

Although I won’t give it a second listen, I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook.

Loved it

I fucking loved this book. It had all the tropes I loved but it was still original enough to keep me interested. I enjoy this author and glad she has titles on the plus catalog but this is a book I would spend a credit on.

Heard better

Not her best work think I will not go for the rest of this series. A bit tame compared to some of her other works.

Average Book

Characters were ok, but storyline was predictable and kind of cheesy. I thought to myself the only thing cheesier would be *SPOILER AHEAD*
if Nana came out and shot Constantine. No joke.
And it happened. I cracked up, can’t believe it happened.

Stolen by the Mob Boss or Hitman

The narrators were great as always; the story was good, but the direction kind of lost it for me. But it would build back up; it makes sense and keeps you interested, but it was more loving than there was drama, and don't get me wrong. I don't like drama in real life, but in my books, I do. And I was expecting more, but there weren't any. All around, I would recommend it; just don't waste your credit on it.
