It could have been so much better
Who picked the Male Narrated! I wished the female narrated read the whole book. He was horrible. He sound like he was an older man. His accent were even worse. His voice didn’t not fit the male character.

Decent enough
Totally missed the mark with this make narrator. It’s unfortunate and not even close to as sexy as it could have been. The narration isn’t bad, just a bit weird and a bit awkward during the sex scenes. Besides the steamy bits I hardly noticed after awhile.
Plot was ok, nothing that stands out so much I’d risk spoilers to share the juicy details. The book did get a very strange and abrupt action adventure movie feel at the end. I guess I didn’t see THAT coming, so let’s say it’s a surprise twist! Because seriously I have no freakin idea where that came from.. lol..so random.
Steam was decently hot, nothing to crazy. Plenty of angst and enemies to lovers vibe.
Overall I would say worth a credit if you don’t have a better option on hand. If nothing else this book does introduce us to an entire new series.
