Highly Recommend reading

i found this book helpful to my currant state of mind: cycles of feeling depressed, anxious and wondering what is my reason for living.
It has shades if the wisdom of Sadhguru and shadows Johann Haris "Lost Connections".

it is well written and very well narrated., very easy to listen to.
i will read again to be able to do some of the suggested exercises.

A Completely Different Way to Heal!

Different from so many other self-help books that basically encourage you to deep dive into the past, into your feelings, into pretty much all the stuff that triggers and re-traumatizes you. This book takes those past struggles and shows you that whatever they may be, you don't have to dig up and relive everything crappy to be able to get past it and live a happy, wonderful life!

If you're done with feeling sorry for yourself and you're done mourning what could have been or should have been or whatever and are ready to ACTUALLY MOVE ON, then this book can show you how.

But if you're still trapped in the thinking that the amount of your suffering somehow proves how much you loved a person, then this book will be much harder for you to hear, grasp and really accept. This book shows you that you can choose how you grieve and for how long and that you can (and should) live a happy life as soon as you've finished grieving. And yes, you CAN finish grieving.

Narrator was OK. Distracting pronunciations sometimes, but decent.

Amazing Book!!!

I would re listen this book over and over again. The book presents an alternative to suffering and reveal ways in which we can choose not suffer. It is easy to fall in the normal routine of suffering after pain, lost or a break-up. The author allows for insight into the truth of what we truly feel and to not be ashamed or feel weak because we still care for those who hurt us. It motivates you to rise above and face your feelings without being re-victimized by those that have hurt you. It empowers you to choose your outcome.

Worth a listen during your healing journey

Grief is tough but she offers a different perspective on what exactly suffering means and does to us. Coming from someone who lost their mom In 2017. Grandparents 2019/2020/2021 and little sister in 2021 and then uncle who was more of father in 2022 … I will listen again.

Thank you

Thank your for the wisdom of not having to suffer through life. The author doesn’t deny life hurts, but teaches you to know how to reframe your mindset about it, and trust that the pain is not temporary. Being childlike with wonderment was a good reminder thank you.
