Mistakes either make or break you, and you are making many mistakes with your form, technique and mindset. It’s a frustrating and painful process. In boxing, errors are very easy to make and hard to identify, therefore you are likely to develop bad boxing habits - which can take months to fix.

I am Andrew Hudson, a boxing coach who was once in your position many years ago, I am very aware of the common mistakes that beginners make because I have made them hundreds of times myself. These mostly come from your stance and footwork, causing you to be:

This book has been carefully written to help you identify common boxing errors in technique so you can fix your mistakes, and avoid them in the future. Allowing you to improve your boxing ability quickly. With each error, you can find information on how to fix the mistake. Also in this guide, you’ll discover:

  • The Biggest Mistake You Make That You’re Unaware of.

A Great Resource

This audiobook is a great resource for new boxers to help nip bad habits in the bud. This book clearly identifies the most common mistakes that new (and experienced) boxers make, and it gives you practical advice on how to not fall into those bad habits. I wish I had this when I was first starting, but I am already improving some of my poor habits because of this book. Highly recommend.

Really useful book

I really liked this book because it broke down boxing into simple steps, like stance and footwork. I've just started training as part of a fitness program, and after practicing what the book teaches for a week in front of the mirror, my trainer was very impressed with my progress. If you've just started boxing or are thinkning about doing so, you should buy this book.

Download your personal coach;)

Listening to this book is like having a personal coach by your side, pointing out all those common mistakes and showing you exactly how to fix them. The author's understanding of the challenges beginners face is spot-on, and the guidance provided is incredibly valuable.

The drills and exercises are super easy to follow, and I've already seen a huge improvement in my technique. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the emphasis on mental health and maintaining a proper mindset. Boxing isn't just about physical strength; it's about mental agility too. This book does an excellent job of highlighting that and provides valuable insights on how to stay focused and motivated.

Great beginner's book!

I enjoyed learning a little history of boxing from way back. I've always been slightly interested in boxing and this definitely gave me tons of helpful strategies and techniques for starting out. It talks about the importance of your mindset and mental game-not to be overlooked! It's definitely every bit as important as the physical/technical details. It gives clear instructions for step-by-step stances, footwork, punches and more! The author does a good job of clarifying the different terms/jargon. If you're looking for improvement, or just starting out - this book can help!

Practitioner

As someone who has been doing Jiu Jitsu for over a decade it feels good to get out of my bounds a little. With Boxing I've found a sense of self and of my own physical well being renewed. I found this book helpful for guidance to help sure up my technique in a few crucial points. Punches don't come strong unless you let them so make sure you slide right through with this one.
