Publisher's summary

I've spent the past three years in college terrorizing the dean, also known as my father. I'm everything he hates. Troublemaker. Slacker. Gay.

But I'm only getting started. I'm about to make Dad really proud with my newest life choices....

I fall for my best friend, Mia, who's a freaking chick. I'm dying to make out with my enemy, dude bro Brayden. And best of all, I want to bone my new roomie, Drew, who happens to also be the school's new hockey coach.

Senior year's great. I'm still the world's worst human. I've made all the wrong decisions, and when Dad gets wind of my newest mess, he might actually disown me this time.

But I can't stop. I don't want to stop.

In typical Ashton Carter fashion, I wreck my life in the worst possible way. It isn't until it's all torn apart, I realize I have a problem. Me.

Contains mature themes.

So darn good!!

This was different from the RH books I typically listen to. All the characters are awesome and I love how they don't let people tear them down. The first few hours of the first book didn't grab my attention but I hung in there and I'm so glad I did! The narrators were fantastic!!!

Sexy and Angst

Ash and Mia are best friends for a long time but Ash is into guys, Mia respects that ‘til one day, they kissed. From there, it’s a story about how love is a dangerous game especially for these 2. I do like the characters and the story is so intense. It does have plenty of sexiness and so, be aware, it’s in a erotic approach. It was tough for me in the beginning, to follow along due to the fact I want into the story but you must remember it’s not a duo, it’s for 4 person book. I have to say, Kelsey and Tim are amazing for this- They are so talented and manage to have many voices, no confusion who’s talking to who. Overall, a controversial story and makes you think what is love and what is acceptable, what’s okay in being in a relationship. It’s something new to me and Yes, I do want to read the next book.

I loved this story and narration!

I'm going to mainly talk about the narration because my full review was going to be on Goodreads but the story is amazing and the narrator's are absolutely fantastic! Tim Paige is amazing! He does such a great job making each MMC sound different in the best way. I've listened to a lot of audio books and I know it's hard to make each male character in a reverse Harem sound different and not make one of them sound ridiculous(I've had that happen a few times) and Kelsey Navarro is awesome I love her voice she is a fantastic Mia❣️

Writing? Eh. Plot? Mmm. Spice? Yessss

The plot is pretty decent tbqh. My biggest complaint is that some of the writing sounds like something from a 2012 tumblr post. Worth it but …

Everyone wants each other.

This book left me hanging on every word. I loved all the characters even when they were shitty. And once the story heated up it heated up. I need to start the next book right now.

Torn Apart

This is the first book in the Torn and Bond duet. This book follows the lives of four college age people. Their lives slowly start intermingling and overlapping. Mia has always been in love with her gay best friend, Ashton. Ashton starts having feelings for Mia. Then Ashton’s new roommate comes into the picture and brings his own drama. Drew is the new hockey coach and Ashton roommate. He is reunited with his childhood best friend Brayden. Drew and Brayden have blurred the lines of their friendship in the past and now feel conflicted about each other. Then to make it even more of a klusterf*uck, Brayden and Mia kind of start seeing each other. This book leaves you screaming NO! How could they possibly work everything out. I can’t wait to see how they untangle this web. Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige did an incredible job narrating this book.

She should of found a guy or guys all about her. The guys we’re way more into each other and she was just an afterthought.

Highly recommend this audio and duet!! Incredible!

WOW! A friend recommended this duet to me and told me to just read it and I could not put it down! If you like MF/MFMM/MM romance then I suggest the same and you will not regret it! It is a college romance book that has it all from angst, to friendship, to enemies, to romance in all ways and a remarkable storyline! It was so captivating that I completely devoured the whole duet in one sitting. The plot always had something happening along with many twists that just keep you drawn into the book. Each of the 4 characters had their own storyline in the book along with the romance journey and it all flowed together perfectly! I also love that we got POVs from all 4 of them throughout the whole duet. This is book 1 of the duet so be sure to jump right into book 2 because what a cliffhanger at the end!!!

“Everyone knows how this type of story plays out: straight girl falls for gay best friend, thinking she’ll be the one to get him to switch teams, only to be let down when he makes it clear he’s gay and not even his best friend can change that.”

Tim Paige & Kelsey Navarro completely knocked this narration out of the park! They performed the book brilliantly and made it an enjoyable listen! Tim Paige even narrated all 3 of the guys and yet he made them feel like 3 separate characters when changing between them. I absolutely love this audio! (You will need to get Bound Together to listen to part 2 of this duet!)
