Publisher's summary

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a brand-new romantic comedy about a one-night stand gone completely wrong. Laugh-out-loud and steamy with a heart-stopping happily ever after.

I knocked up my best friend's sister.

Figured I would get straight to the point, because how it happened is a mere snippet of the story I have to tell. The real meat and potatoes is what happened after.

Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist.

It wasn't pretty.

Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Given how much I've pined for the girl, you would think that wouldn't be a hardship. Wrong.

This is my one shot to win my teammate back. Pacey is the only family I've got, so hooking up with his sister isn't a mistake I can make twice...despite the fact that she's pregnant with my child.

But with every mood swing, every pair of pants that doesn't fit right, and every late night run to find the perfect donut, I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

Especially when she kisses me....

Great series

I love this group of characters in this series. The bond between the men is phenomenal. And, just let me say … I effin’ love Teddy Hamilton.

Another hit!!!

This was a great next book in the series. Eli I’d known as the playboy. Never has a girlfriend but the nice guy. Penny’s the little sister to the star goalie. She works for the team and all team members have been told to keep their distance, especially Eli. Little do people know but he’s been attracted to her since the moment they met. He’s never made a move in two years. However, it’s his birthday, it’s also Valentine’s Day. She’s at the same bar. They start flirting. She’s awkward, but hilarious. One thing leads to another and they hook up!!! Well….. unexpectedly she’s pregnant and her brother loses his crap. Telling Eli he’s moving in and going to make this right.
Eli had a bad childhood, he lost his mom at a young age and really didn’t know what love was like. His friends are his family. He’s fearful of losing that. Penny is very patient with Eli but I’m not going to lie…. She starts to get a little cray towards the end. Haha!! These two go on a roller coaster of emotions but what a ride!!!! Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton were so good narrating these characters. I can’t wait to see who’s story is next!!

Best Sports RomCom 2022!💜

Fantastic story! The overall storyline was really good but the baby brain storyline was hilarious. I’m sorry but Penny was nuts, poor Eli 🤣🤣
So many laugh out loud moments this book is a must read/listen.
The narration was wonderfully performed by both Teddy Hamilton & especially Kelsey Navarro who absolutely killed it as Penny. Meghan Quinn does it again. I’m giving this book a Spotlight Award for best Sports RomCom 2022.
This is book 2 with an HEA and can be read as a standalone.
I highly recommend this book/series.

Funny, emotional and poignant.

I like this book. It took me a while to fully understand the story of Penny and Eli. I was frustrated at times with both of them but as I continue to read their story I fully understand why Eli was so hesitant to accept love and to fully believe that Penny could want him. Those Three Little Words was funny, poignant, emotional, worth spending time to get to know Eli and Penny, I hope there’s a story for each of these guys, I’ve fallen in love with each one of them.

Perfect blend of hilarious & heartbreaking.

Second in series however it stands alone beautifully. If you've read the first book, you'll have more depth on the whole crew of hockey boys, but it's not necessary for the enjoyment of Eli & Penny.

This book contains:
- Best Friend's Little Sister
- Ooops pregnancy from one night together
- Forced Proximity
- Pregnancy symptom hilarity
- A workout and sore ribs from so much laughter
- Lots of feels and misty eyes

Eli is the pretty boy. An emotionally distant, serial one night stand kind of guy. He's been interested in Penny (his best friend/team mate's little sister) since day one. When the opportunity to spend time with her on his birthday happens, he jumps on the chance.

Penny has always been intimidated by Eli. He's handsome and can have any woman he wants, why would he want her? Then after the best night of her life, she tries to hold to the "it's one night, neither of us wants a relationship" mantra she's been living with for weeks after... until there are 2 lines on allllllll the pregnancy tests.

Now Eli has moved into Penny's apartment, he's being all kinds of sweet and she's being all kinds of pregnant. How will they move forward from here with their new shared future, past trauma/damage and so many insecurities. How will they each deal with the emotions and the feels as they spend more and more time together focusing on this new life they made...

The audiobook was narrated in duet by Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton. Kelsey brought all the reality of a panicking pregnant woman who's also a little bit crazy. She has playful moments, heart wrenching dialogue and some absolutely adorable pure joy as Penny tricks an unsuspecting Eli about pregnancy and kids. Teddy was fantastic as Eli, he was the perfect blend of pure sweetness and dirty talking steam. You could feel the tension and conflict in Eli as he grows closer to Penny while wanting to honor his friendship with her brother. It killed me to listen to these two as they tried to deal with everything.

Funny, flirty and so full of sass!

Unsurprisingly, Meghan does it again. Those Three Little Words is a laugh out load, rolling on the floor kind of story.

Filled with so much humor and heart, in a wonderfully crafted storyline with amazing, fully fledged and developed characters, we are treated to a swoon inducing, pee in pants laughing, heartwarming masterpiece of romance.

With unbelievably witty character dialogue and some seriously awkward moments that only Meghan can make entertaining and engaging, coupled with narrators' Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro's amazing performance, this is hands down one of my all time favorites from Meghan and I simply cannot wait to see what she comes up with next.

5 stars and those three little words.

Real Love at Last

Our hero is sexy, strong and only lacking one thing. Eli needs love. He finds it with Penny a girl he wants but doesn’t think he can keep. Surrounded by good friends, can they make it last? How will it end? You’ll have to read to find out.

A lot of feelings in this story

I went through a wide range of feelings with this story. There were times when I laughed, times when I was aggravated, times when I was angry, times I was sad, and then finally the happily ever after.

I thought Eli was a really great character. Abandoned at a young age and now surrounds himself with friends. Penny on the other hand I liked off and on throughout the story. I felt she was misrepresented as a pregnant woman, or gave pregnancy a bad name. There was a time when I wanted to stop listening to this book (chapter 33) but because I have read most of Meghan Quinn’s books I knew things would work themselves out. Overall I liked the book. The narration by Kelsey Navarro and Teddy Hamilton is superb.

Hilarious!

4.5 stars! If you love a brothers best friend, accidental pregnancy, sports romance that will make you snort laugh out loud, then this is the book for you. Eli was everything in this story. He had deep rooted issues making him believe he couldn’t be loved or give love, but his actions showed how wrong he is. He did what many men in his position wouldn’t and put up with more than anyone should. Penny was a little harder to relate to, but she was hilarious and there were so many times I laughed out loud at her antics. In the end, everything worked out as it should. I found this book fun and entertaining!
Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro did a fabulous job bringing Eli and Penny to life.
