Well worth the listen

I'm almost exclusively a sci-fi and fantasy guy but very occasionally I'm in the mood for a romance. Even when I am I often end up dropping the book because modern authors seem obsessed with "untraditional relationships" (that's code for 1 person boinnking many people).
If you like a good old classical romance ,between 2 people who sometimes make mistakes towards their partner, then you'll enjoy this.

❤️❤️❤️

Coldbreath doesn’t miss. Her writing is always engrossing and fun. There is a wonderful mix of angst and devotion between the couple that keeps me hooked. The sexy times are well written and the narrator is top tier. Her male voice is believable and the female voice doesn’t make me cringe. I have enjoyed this series and will continue to purchase these books.

Great Story

Coldbreath is great - I love every book that I have read. The narrator isn't great. the women (in many of the books that she narrates) sound extremely similar, whiny and weak. It's annoying, especially when the main female character is especiallystrong.. Plus, the narrator mispronounces words, which is very aggravating.

Dirty and good natured

This is a book I will be putting in my “easy listening” collection. It has a lot of spice, but not too much drama. Overall, it leaves you with a happy feeling and never put you in a bad mood. The narrator voice drives me a bit crazy sometimes because she makes the main female characters always sound whiny. If I can get past that, so shall you. The book is worth it and I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

I found this a very interesting book.

this book was a great example of what a dowry to do. It also showed so many clips into the lifestyle of the people of that time... they I would get sick and treated in the most horrendous ways, until Only the strongest could survive. After that you have to find love and a life

Great book in a good series

AC writes about flawed characters finding love when they aren’t looking for it. She created hateful characters, shows them kindness and reveals depth. This book tells the story with love, disappointment, family, friendship, marriage, sex, resolution, and redemption.

Lovely story

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was definitely old school, which I love. It was a very smooth read and an excellent HEA! The H and h where both delightful in their own way and ended up being a perfect pair. The only thing that kept if from 5 stars was although it was a very goofy smooth read it did not really build up much. Still I would definitely recommend the book! Plot 6.5(1-10) steaminess 8 (1-10)

My favorite so far!

Alice did it again and im not sure anyone does it better. The volume of clever wit and humanity that's infused into her characters, all while achieving a truly swoon worthy romance, is unparalleled. The language and dialogue is so stimulating without being overly pretentious and her love scenes are better and steamier than any of the popular romance novels today - And yet, she still manages to bring class and sensuality to every spicy encounter. I am a fan for life and readily making my way through every piece of literature she produces.

The narrator, as per usual, is so incredibly talented and im very satisfied she seems to be the sole voice for this incredible world building.

The hero had to grow up

The hero in this romance is not my favorite Coldbreath hero, but the romance is still great. He does redeem his cranky self. Lol. I love Coldbreath's romances. They have all the great elements of witty banter, fabulous heroines, antihero heroes, humor, and romance.

Wonderful love story

One of my favorite books in the fabulous Karadok seies, The Unlovely Bride matches a pair of perfectly fitting puzzle pieces. An unlikely hero and a damsel whose strength leads her to take control of her distress come together to build what could be a lifetime of love. There are challenges to meet, kisses to steal, and drama to overcome.
