A surprise
As an avid Outlander fan, I was looking for another Highlander Scottish book to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I did guess the ending, but actually it was a pleasant surprise. I recommend this book.

Beautiful Story
Family is where you find it and love breaks down barriers. The passion in the story had me hooked. It made me laugh and brought tears to my eyes. I loved the story line and the characters. It was definitely worth the credit!

thoroughly enjoyable
Needed a break from reality and decided to enjoy a romantic romp through the Highlands. This audiobook hit the spot!
Brave decision to have domestic violence as a backstory for the heroine. Handled with grace and dignity. Very much enjoyed seeing her come into her own and redevelop her sense of self-worth.
Swoon-worthy hero and well developed secondary characters.
The hero/heroine introduction was unique and quite creative.
While parts of the book were predictable, most were unique in their approach. The ending was the redemption I'd hoped to see.

a nice story
I liked the story and I liked the narration. one of the things I really appreciated was that there wasn't a whole lot of in your face sex. don't get me wrong I enjoy the sex scenes, but sometimes a little bit left to the imagination is a good thing, and sometimes we don't need in-depth sex scenes at the very beginning of a book. so I liked this book for that reason and also because the author did a very good job of weaving everything together.

I don’t regret buying this, this book actually brought tears to my eyes . And a few chuckles definitely would recommend, I’d like to this as a movie , I definitely think it could be a hallmark or lifetime movie for sure
