Chokehold
I couldn’t put it down. This book has changed my star scale for 2024. All of my 5 star books are now 4 stars. It is a beautiful story. I devoured it in a day, it is lovely and horrifying and heartbreaking.

Beautiful story and definitely in my top three favs
Extremely well written enemies to lovers with a bit of a slow burn. This book had me giggling and kicking my feet at some points. Definitely looking forward to the second book.

Whimsical love story fighting for a chance while torn by war
I enjoyed the fantasy and magical setting throughout the theme of the book, it somewhat reminded me of Harry Potter with magical letters and trains. The love story itself felt true and relatable to a real love story that would’ve taken place in the late 1800s during the civil war. A few moments felt slow but essentially added to the overall development of the story. It was a great read, moving onto book 2 in the duology ~Ruthless Vows~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 8.3/10

Best book of the year
It has been a long while since I’ve listened to a book this perfect. I absolutely loved it. Expert writing and pacing. Characters I rooted for. And a performance that I immensely enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Stunning
I finished this audiobook in 4 days. I'm always dubious when a book gets so hyped but I was drawn in from chapter 1. Absolutely loved this story, the romance, the pining and tension on each chapter was great.

Loved this so much!!
I did not realize this was a series… I’m crushed!!! Loved the romance and the raw emotion. I find her writing style very visceral and evocative. Can’t wait for book 2.
After reading a few meh books in a row, this was such a breath of fresh air!
