I enjoyed, main character is a little dense

I really liked this audiobook. I wished that MC was not quite so slow…like she was given 100 clues and basically has zero powers of deduction….

LOVED IT

Finally felt like I didn’t waste a credit! So sad book two is out but not yet narrated! I need it now! Great narrators and a great story!

Why am I attracted to a crow?

olivia is amazing. her style is my style. Although this book is slow for the first 50%, I loved it. Im a sucker for a slow burn in every way! the magic and story is unique and im so sad I have to wait for the next!!!

naive main character is slightly annoying because of her blindness to douchey men. but otherwise funny. fun read w fun characters. beautiful and interesting writing.

Wow amazing journey of self discovery

I’m currently in my fantasy period where I devour fantasy romance book. It was getting really old, because most of them have the same storyline - girls has powers she does not know about, gets stolen by a prince and discovers her destiny. This story finally had a bit of a twist.

The character development is a bit slow but not to a point where you want to read something else. The book is packed with different subjects which you could have expanded on even further, so it was I think a trade off between leaving out more detail on certain scenes to getting the story to fit. I love also that the ending is not entirely a cliff hanger, but still a feel kinda good.

There is limited explicit intimate content, however Fallons first time is described. A bit awkward in the grand scheme of the book, but I guess there had to be something in there.

Overall loved the book.

Unique, engaging world and characters

This first book in the series is very good. I like the pacing and friendships and relationships building as the story progresses. I really enjoyed the characters too, and I couldn't wait to continue with the second book.

The story was amazing!

This is a great read will definitely recommend. I've been looking for something new in paranormal fantasy genre thats not just the usual angels, werewolves , vampires and this book really suprised me . The protagonist wasn't just some whiny girl who just wants a prince she actually smart , cunning, ambitious and she doesn't back down which I loved! Her development over time really shocked and pleased because she got better and better. The story had so many twists that I didn't see coming really detailed imagery that made me feel I could see what she was describing. I can't wait for book 2 the author definitely gained a fan!

Unusual Magic

I love the story line and the naive MFC. Will be listening to the second because I am very interested to learn what is in store for Fallon and this Crow king!

Wayyyy better than i thought!

I sorta thought this would be like all the other similar books in the genre, but it was actually really good! pretty slow starting and the main character is kinda slow, but the narrator did an amazing job displaying the character is a fun way! honestly really loved this book and getting the second immediately!

Love the story!

I’m intrigued, great story and the characters are very intriguing. Recommended read. Not a lot of spice in this first book, I’m good with that. I am after adventure and this is the perfect beginning. Kings, Queens, magic and crows what is not to love ?
