l was totally taken in with this busy young girls life while struggling to achieve her one goal in life. Her demeanor and attitude was to be admired and l was appalled at the aliens way of meting out the females. Her protector and possible future mate was a lovely person and l enjoyed his protective ways. Well written and nicely narrated. Recommended.

More than she bargained for!!!

Caide and Delle's story is slow burn and very very sweet. I really liked these 2 characters and the storyline. The audio narration was very well done and enjoyable to listen to. A great series starter and I'm looking forward to more!

A wonderful sweet adventure

I liked the world building and the strong female character it was a wonderful sweet love story. I had some good laughs and fell in love along with them. Looking forward to more from this author it was not my usual level of spice but I enjoyed the story. When the story is well done I’m along for the ride into the adventure.

What a refreshing new series!

What a refreshing new series! If you like science fiction romance - heavy on the slow burn then this is the book for you. Earth is ruled by aliens and (as usual) there aren't many options for women, enter Delle and Caide. Due to circumstances each are looking for a way out of bad situations and a marriage of convenience is born.
These two had chemistry off the charts and it was a treat to see them grow closer. I read a lot of scifi and appreciated the time taken to develop their relationship and set up the world.
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

Touching

I enjoyed this paranormal romance between a human female, Dell and her alien mate, Cade. Their relationship was supposed to be a marriage bargain which become so much more. A touching story narrated well by Lila Kerry.

I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. It's my first from this author. Great world building. The storyline was interesting and the way the world was set was very believable. I really liked Caide. Though an Overlord, he wasn't arrogant or self-centered. He was lonely of his quiet life, and when his employee (jokingly?) invites him over to his chaotic house with his pregnant wife and kids, Caide accepts. Delle is frustrated with the way humans are treated by Overlords. She is worried about her pregnant sister, who's been sick all day while she cares for the children, and her brother-in-law doesn't even remember to bring the medication his wife needs. She isn't happy that he brought an Overlord to their home, and has more of a problem with them than they do. I found her outspoken, and at times rash. I understand the indignation at the inequality between humans and the aliens, but I expected her to have better control- especially if an Overlord's wrath could have serious consequences for their family (and she doesn't know Caide is more easy-going than the other Overlords). I didn't really care for her character. I thought Caide very patient and kind.

I listened to this on audiobook narrated by Lily Kerry. I liked her voice- especially for Delle. I thought it suited the character. Her voice for Caide wasn't much different however.

I enjoyed it.

Amazing

I simply adore this book, it held laughter and love. The narrator was excellent in both roles, I couldn't put it down.

A Great Alien Romance!

This was my first Moriah Blackwood's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Bound to an Overlord Series, an Alien Romance. Delle and Caide's slow burn romance is well written, and engaging. Caide, an Overlord, is handsome, sweet, and protective. I liked his determination. Delle, a human, is a beautiful character, strong, smart, and independent. The characters are well developed, and interesting. I liked the world building. The storyline is sweet, sexy, and funny. Lila Kerry has a beautiful voice, pleasant to listen to. She did an excellent job with the narration. This is a great Sci-Fi Romance, and I enjoyed it. Looking forward for more in the series. #StoryOrigin

My Overlord husband

A unique story line, at least one I have not read before. This will be an interesting series. I am eager for the next book, to see what happens as the story continues to evolve.
Earth has been taken over by aliens. Our wars have killed off a large portion of our men and left us struggling. Overlords (aliens) are now in control. Women are oppressed, and really only seen as breeders. Here, Caide, an overlord, proposed a bargain to marry Delle, to keep her from becoming a breeder. As fate would have it, they have great chemistry and fall in love. If you’re looking for erotic scenes, this is not it.
Good story line, which flows naturally. Good character development. Narration (audio version) is good.
