Others had said that this series was perfect for those who loved Jean M. Aul and they were not wrong! I have not been so riveted and moved since reading the Clan of the Cavebear series.

Upset by the ending.
Great story that took over my life for the last two weeks. I overall was engrossed in the beauty of it. Raw and uniquely done. A few things that upset me was there wasn't enough romance between the two, Too much undecidedness by the MC's. I also wanted a better ending that gave the MC justice. The author had a promise to provide and it was ultimately not met. Too sad at the end.
