Publisher's summary

The first three books in the Amazon number one best-selling Paranormal Suspense series!

When the crows gather over a remote Navajo Reservation in the deep Southwest, it is a sign that the thin veil that separates our world from the one beyond is about to open. Without a barrier between life and death, things pass between both worlds. Some of them are good. Most of them are not.

Three strangers find themselves on the front lines of a supernatural battle that spans generations, crosses our world and the world beyond, and forges bonds that last through life and death.

This complete set contains the first three books in the Vanished series: Follow the Crow (Book 1), Beyond the Veil (Book 2), and The Coyote Way (Book 3).

Out of genre a bit

I was expecting a mystery series in the vein of Tony Hillerman’s tribal police procedurals. I finished the first and half of the second volume before the metaphysical histrionics began to bore me.

Beautiful Weaving of culture, reality, and myth

People reflect their landscape, respond to their upbringing, and question where they are from, and where they belong. This is the Story of Journeys. In Native tradition of weaving myth and reality, this author also weaves past and present; the new and the old. Beautifully told. Not a fast paced story. But no Navajo story ever is. It’s not about the story. It’s the journey you take getting to the end and the beginning.

Do you like emotional roller coasters?

I thoroughly enjoyed this series from beginning to end of all three books. although certain parts of the books I predicted and came true and some didn't. Maybe it's because I simply enjoy reading and it's a fantastic escape.

I had to stop multiple times though because if I didn't I would have finished it too soon and I didn't want it to end.

Liked this book

Liked the story and the telling both. First audible book I wanted to finish to the end!. Liked the window into Navaho people and indigenous people in general. As far out as the story line was it sounded believable!
