Forgotten Favorite

I read this book when it first came out over a decade ago. It's been on my bookshelf all but forgotten until this popped up on my suggested list. Still such a fantastic book. Aged well. And worth every credit. Narration was spot on which how I imagined her.

Picked this book up waiting to leave for deployment.
My normal reading is historical romance. But let me just say Love with P.C. Cast and the way her writing style is pulls you into the story as if you are right there in it no matter the character you wish to become in her books.

Wonderful centaur story

Makes one consider the sexy side of centaurs and wonder if they are real. I’d like to think so.

My Fictional Best Friend

The main character is the kind of woman I’d want to be best friends with. I absolutely adore P.C. Cast’s storyline and characters that come alive. The narrator tells this story perfectly with amazing voices and inflection.

Amazing listening experience

I read this whole series years ago and wasn't sure if I would enjoy it with a narrator, especially since I'm so picky with who is narrating and how they do it. This was genuinely enjoyable and kept my rapt attention throughout the entire listen. I laughed and I cried more than I had expected and even more than when I read it myself! That was completely unexpected! I'm a bit scared to proceed with the next book in the series, since I know how the story continues and I'm not sure I'm ready for the emotions it will cause just yet but it's definitely worth the time and money to listen to this one!

I love this series

I had read all of the House of Night books and just happened to run across these books and oh what a great listen.

I have been waiting for this book to be on audible for what feels like forever! The narroration is on point and the story is one of my favorites! You want excitement, adventure, and love this is the book for you!!

Awesome story!

I loved it i cried,laughed, and even was anxious on some parts this book literally came to life. Laura was awesome with the voices she does overall great job!

Loved it!

The storyteller did an admirable job but, this is just my opinion, the main character needed a softer, more feminine voice. Every once in a while it through me off but I did love the story and the narrator.
