Publisher's summary

Beat the game. Get the girls. Stop the bad guy.

My name's Ethan Riley. Just your typical dude with a bartending gig and an outdated Subaru, and if that wasn't boring enough...I'm from Ohio.

Or at least I was boring...until I died.

No, seriously. I died. But thanks to the magic of unethical medical practices, I was kitted out with a microchip in my head and some hush money in my pocket.

Now, I’m suddenly seeing everything like a dating simulator, including some of the hottest gamer girls in the industry. Girls like Belladonna Minx wouldn’t normally look at guys like me, but she's not just looking...she's staring. And my reflexes?

Well, they might even be enough to win an esports competition run by an evil billionaire with an equally evil AI.

Very fun light hearted romp

Trouble makers and technology really mix well in this series. Interesting premise that moves along quickly

Love to listen

At the start of the book I didn’t know how the rpg dating sim was going to kick but in the end I felt like it wanted to be more like a dating sim lit rpg then the story made it out to be, I liked that it was more slice of life and less impossible fantasy situations. This story was awesome for making it more believable and relatable to me as a listener.
And I love the herem aspects with the girls adding him to there group.
Plus the dating sim parts were funny, hot, exciting. I’m glad I picked up this story and I look forward to anything new in the future.

Very Disappointing

I really wanted to like this book. I’ve heard several others by the same author and some were great and some definitely were not great. Unfortunately, this falls under the great category. The storyline was only so so and somewhat predictable. It was easy to figure out the relationship between the protagonist and the antagonist fairly quickly even though the ““ big reveal didn’t come in till the end. The rest of the storyline was weak as well.

The narrator made of valiant attempt to do both male and female voices, but the male MP still sounded female. I don't blame the narrator, as this book obviously called for dual narration.

In general, skip this book and look for something better from this author in some of his previous or future books.
