Publisher's summary

Life on Shelnora Island seemed to be perfect for me. A tropical paradise, great food, and beautiful women at the local sorority . . . until I crossed paths with a mysterious murder and sightings of an honest-to-God werewolf!

Now I'm surrounded by three beautiful women, all drawn into the mystery, and it turns out that my new dog is a smoking hot shapeshifter. Life's gotten crazy, but maybe, if we all work together, we'll find out who the real killer is.

Could it be the curmudgeonly divemaster with a grudge? The sleazy resort owner drumming up sensationalism for tourist bucks? The mysterious tribesman with a grudge against developers? Or is it an actual werewolf?

Maybe we'll live long enough to find out!

A fun quick read

Great for a good book in between heavy books for a fun light read. And some of the lines will make you laugh.

I LOVE IT!

I love when a good author takes a well-known and/or loved story and puts it in another scenario.
Archer does an awesome job of taking one of my childhood loves and changing it into an adulthood love.
Don't expect this to be another episode. This is now its own thing with just a hint, a taste if you will, of what you're expecting. At times even a 15-layer sandwich.
Saturday morning cartoon turned into an adult HaremLit instant classic!
I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.

A Great Surprise

This story is exactly what you think it is with a rather refreshing take on the cast. There is a lot of story here as well which is to say that where as there are adult scenes there are less of them then the actual story. Just a note worth making in my opinion as I have seen some complaints on books about that. The story is rather nice and goes about how one in this spoof genre would go but is not a letdown at all.

This book had me smiling from the start and only kept me that way through the whole things with a few "figures" moments in it. I do recommend picking this book up for sure and I will be working through books two and three soon enough. The one thing I did wish for which a personal thing was more get to know the characters and cast moments. Yes, you get the idea of who they are inspired by but I still wanted a more author personalized touch on it.

Scooby-doo fan fiction

First things first, the story isn't... bad just juvenile like a fan fiction written by a teenager. Big enough parts of the story seemed to be ether made up on the spot, or the writer didn't notice that big parts of the story in their head didn't actually make it on paper. Again, it's not bad. I just found myself confused and rolling my eyes more often than not.

Not too shabby

Kind of cartoonish, in a "familiar" way. But not a turn off altogether. Story line was good, and the light-hearted telling was sort of refreshing for my inner kid. Would definitely recommend!

Not that good

Other than the Scooby Doo references, this book was pretty boring. I guess if you like the Hardy boys and Nancy Drew mysteries, you might like this book but if you truly want a good mystery, I suggest you look to other authors

I will pass on the rest of the series.

Next generation Scooby-Doo

It's an updated version of Scooby-Doo with a more adult twist. I loved it.

Not sure what I expected

Not sure what I expected, but it wasn’t this. Not a fan of the voice actor, but I’m not sure if someone could have done it better.
