Very different EOTW book. strong, interesting characters. I like when people are perfectly imperfect. I have read all in this series. I was sorry to see it end but appreciated the conclusion

I have a crush on YA books

WOW! I was a little nervous when I first heard Kresley Cole was taking a break from her IAD series to write a YA novel. But, I gave it a try and was NOT disappointed. I really LOVED this book. As always, Ms. Cole is amazing at story-telling and world building. She is brilliant at character development and her imagination is genius! Emma Galvin is a PERFECT narrator for YA books (she is one of my favorites).

It’s been a long time since I’ve been considered a “young adult” but I have to say I absolutely love this genre. (Dare I say I have a crush?)

This is definitely a credit worthy read, especially for fans of YA and/or Kresley Cole.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!

OMG - I was not expecting this. It was just ... sooooooooooo ... good! There was nothing about this book I didn't enjoy. Twisted Arthur, the Arcana, the death card, and the final showdown. Then, of course, there's Jackson. I want a bit of 'ol Jack. I want him to speak Cajun French to me!!!!

This was a great start to what should be a SPECTACULAR series. I hope it's a long one. It was expertly paced and painted such a great picture of a post-apoloclypic world. I'm dying for more of the Arcana!


NARRATION:

Emma Galvin is a fantastic narrator. She doesn't just read, she's completely "in it." She makes me feel like she's really there, feeling and seeing everything. I loved her from the Divergent series and she does another fantastical, spectacular job. She's one of my favorites, no doubt.

I really enjoyed Keith Nobbs too. My first experience with him, definitely not the last! Hope I can find some solo narration jobs of his.

This book really stands out, I can not praise enough on the creativity of this book I was stunned into listening the whole without a single pause.

What made the experience of listening to Poison Princess the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed this book, it's hunger game meets the road meets twilight, but still unique on it's own. I really enjoyed the narrator, both were wonderful, and I can't tell you how that makes a difference. I tried listening to another audible book, my husband swears it's a great book (which he read the old fashion way...on his kindle, while I tried listening to it. The narrator was dull, and I have yet to listen to it in its entirety.

The ending...

No, but they were both awesome.

The book keeps you guessing and is a great adventure! Emma Galvin brings this book to life! I Can't wait for the sequel!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Poison Princess?

As Evie discovers who she is, her nightmares of the witch become graffic and you just can't stop listening......I was awake all night, because I couldn't stop listening!!

What does Emma Galvin and Keith Nobbs bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emma Galvin is definately my favorite narrator. In fact, I discovered this book while searching for her work. She brings characters to life and the emotion she delivers, sucks you in and you become part of her story. I will listen to anything that she narrates!!! Emma Galvin is a talented and exciting narrator. Keith Nobbs also brings to life, the creepiest of characters......amazing! His work is worth the listen!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me excited and I just couldn't stop listening....I had to know what was going to happen next!! I cannot wait for a sequel!!!!

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys extreme adventure and complex characters!! Emma Galvin's preformance is amazing!! This girl needs to narrate MORE!! I would listen to anything she reads.....great work girl!

Must be made into a movie!

I really, really liked how the whole story came together so neatly in the end. It was great and I can't wait for the next one!

Loved Jackson Deveaux. There's something really hot about that Cajun.

The Hunger Games, mainly because the character of Evie reminded me of Catnis.
