Gilded Wings is book one in a romantasy duet. It will be concluded in Crimson Skies, released early 2024. Tropes include dragon shifter and human romance, forced proximity, fated mates, touch her and..., and portal to a faerie world. This book is not a standalone and is recommended for 18+ due to language and adult situations.

The story line and voices for this novel have me…
How long do I have to wait for the audio. The book is available. I guess that will have to do for now.

Not bad at all.

I like the story line and the narrators. Jaymine even sure knows how to pick them. The voice ranges were great. I’m really feeling the storyline and the main characters.. I love the bad ass female lead, not the wimpy female characters who don’t have a back bone. This story is not that! Excited for the next book in!

Love the start of this series & can’t wait to see where this story goes. Jaymin never fails to make sure you get attached to the good and moody characters!

Great duet narration!

Did I squeal when this landed in my audio library? Yes. Yes I did. And I’m not ashamed to admit it. I became a big fan of Jaymin Eve after listening to her Shadow Beast Shifters series so I immediately knew this was going to be a must read, or I should say a must listen, when I found out about it.

This story intrigued me and grabbed my attention from the start and kept me in its grip the whole time. The world building was interesting and I can’t wait to find out more about the world and the creatures in it. Morgan is a girl after my own heart and I love her character. Drager…honestly I could take him or leave him, which makes sense once you get to the end of the book. I had my theories as to where things were going and for the most part I was correct. I’m excited to see where Jaymin takes this story in the next book.

The audio narration was phenomenal. I’ve been a fan of Bridget Bordeaux for years and she does a fantastic job of portraying Morgan. She brings her personality and all of her little quirks to life. Gregory Salinas was so good as Drager and Zahrek and with that deep voice of his he sold the dragon persona of these characters and I was here for it. And did I mention that this is a duet narration? I may or may not have squealed and did a little happy dance when I was first listening and realized that.

Now I’m going to sit here and impatiently wait for the next audiobook.

This author never disappoints. Although Jaymin's Shadow Beast series will always be my all time favorite series of hers, the new plot was refreshing, even if it did start a little too fast for my liking, and the plot twists and reveals are still coming. Warning ⚠️ this book ends on a cliffhanger! (Which is highly unusual and unexpected from this auhor) Worth it if your a fan. Highly recommend.

The plot….. this book was freaking amazing

I was on the edge of my seat. Some books by chapter 4 you know if it’s a good book but this one had me at chapter 1

This was so fun. I love Jaymin's writing, it's quirky and hilarious and so entertaining. This is my first story purely by her (I've also read Bellerose) and it certainly won't be my last.

The world building was a bit slow and muddy at times, I found myself getting distracted during the audio and having to rewind multiple times... But the last third or so had me hooked and loving where this story is heading.

I'm really loving the characters, especially Morgan. She's witty and smart and I love that she's such a match for these dragons. I am wondering what's in store for her HEA. It starts as MF, morphs to a love triangle and ends feeling a bit like a MFM. I actually kinda wonder if she's gonna have a dragon hoard by the end, and I won't be mad about it.

The audio was incredible. So well produced as a duet, you'd believe these actors were in a room together. Bridget Bordeaux and Gregory Salinas are absolute faves of mine and they did these characters complete justice. I'm so excited to listen to them again for book two.

Great story…not so great narration

Love JE books, but the person voicing Morgan has a very sing/song voice and quite frankly makes the character you want to love seem extremely neurotic and whiney. Loved the story, didn’t love the character narration for Morgan. If you can get past that, you’ll love the story.
