This is a wonderful read. I was quickly sucked into the magical and wonderful world of Taliyah Skyhawk and Roc. Taliyah is so fierce and fun!! I loved her quips and barbs. She is easy to cheer for. And Roc is every alpha dream come to life. I enjoyed the build and the slow burn. It made the steamy scenes even more satisfying. I have not read any of the other books in the "Lords of the Underworld" series. But I will now! Gena Showalter is a 1-click for me...and I was not disappointed with this one.

When I read the synopsis of this book I knew. I just knew I was going to adore it.
It did have me worried for a second, but then that blew over.
The whole book takes place in the span of a month so if you're not a fan of love at first death attempt just keep on moving.
But the synopsis very much tells you everything that you need to know. Other than there's just a couple hot and heavy scenes.... because there is.

Another wonderful book! The harpies are some of my favorite characters. I fell asleep with the book playing last night and got some up with kisses from my husband! He has requested I play more of these books at night. We both had pleasantly sexy dreams! I have loved every book Gena Showalter has written. I can't wait for more!

perfection, LOVED it!
how can you go wrong with somebody like Thalia fantastic story very well written and the performance was fantastic as well I would like to say though that it was a real treat having some of the Lords of the Underworld in this book towards the end it was really good made me smile I cried a little bit as well it was just a excellent book a must-read for anyone that enjoyed the series!
