Holmes is back

Loved it all. I just wished there was a little bit of narration in the breaks. Or to fleas out the scene. Other than that sit back close your eyes and ease into Victorian England.

This revisit to the world of Sherlock Holmes is well done. The inclusion of references to earlier stories is brilliant and we'll placed. All around a fun time.

Holmes To The Rescue, Your Majesty

This was my first download of the new Audible Plus Catalogue that is now included with my subscription. What a listening treat this was. Done in a classic radio style delivery with many voice actors and sound effects included, this was a great listen from start to finish. All did a fine job and were believably in character for the drama.

Sherlock Holmes is joined by his sidekick Dr Watson as they set out to discover who is responsible for the kidnapping of Queen Victoria. Mixed in with this fictional account are many real life participants including Queen Victoria, Prince Edward, and Abdul Karim, the controversial Munshi to the queen. Also included is the nefarious Professor Moriarty, who is right in the thick of this adventure. There are plenty of plot twists and turns to keep the interest up, especially as the final chapters unfold in classic Holmes fashion.

If you are a Sherlock Holmes fan, you will definitely want to download this one. Thank you Audible for making the Audible Plus Catalogue available with such a great start to my listening pleasure.
