Easy to listen to

I tried this author because I'm interested in growing my own food forest in S. GA. We live on the FL GA line. so the zones are the same as N. FL. I expected it to be dry but informative. Most gardening books are. But I found myself laughing and smiling at his quirky stories as I learned all about his food forest ideas. I was inspired to dive right in. Now my kids can't eat a piece of fruit without me saying, give me the seeds or pit when your done. My sister's and I played in a pear tree as kids. It was our rocket ship. David had a Mulberry tree. I'll be reading more of his books.

Think outside the dirt!

This is a great book for the adventurous Florida gardener. I loved this book. I even bought the paperback to have easy reference to the appendix

Informative/entertaining

This book is packed with great information and presented in a very entertaining way. What Gardner would not want to read this book? We are called to action by the clear instruction on how everyone can start a food forest no matter what their location may be!

If you live in Florida you need this book.

Great book from a great guy

Fantastic Book

This book is a must for the novice to the expert. No matter what level of gardener you are, you will learn something new. Mr. the Good cuts out a lot of research one would need learn before attempting a food forest in Florida or even a small backyard garden. Great book, I look forward to more from him. The audio was great too, and told with his sense of humor is very refreshing. Excellent job.
