Loved it!

Simon’s character was just so perfect and Annabelle was just straight out annoying, not just if she had other qualities except being pretty. I’m not sure that the reason of being a wallflower was credible but all in all the story was good because Simon was so excellent - the declaration at the end was heart melting

Great story!

This is a really great book, I just wonder how much better it would have been if it wasn’t abridged. Good story with an explosive ending! On to the next book!

A witty, endearing read

In her last season with no prospects due to her lack of dowry, Annabelle befriends three other wallflowers who make a pact to help each other catch a husband. However, the dratted Simon Hunt, a commoner turned wealthy business man who is too blunt to be accepted by society appears at every turn, making his interest known despite believing scandalous rumors about Annabelle. An older lechor threatens Annabelles timeline to marry, making it urgent that she catch a suitable husband while also thwarting the ever surprising and handsome Simon. A delightfully drawn out happy ending that develops the romance further than most and sets up for an intriguing series.

Loved the story and the narrator! I can’t wait to revisit the other wall flowers and hear their stories again!

Another wonderful Kleypas

Although this isn’t my favorite of the Wallflowers series, I do enjoy it and enjoy watching the relationship build between Simon and Annabelle. I have read the book and listened to the narration several times and have no doubt I will again in the future.

Enjoyable

This book made me go through a lot of emotions. But I enjoyed it, the sweet interaction with the main couple towards the end was enough to make me cry. I can’t wait to read the next book after this.

Good story

The story was good and did not lag. Although I like Rosalyn Landor performance usually, the New York accents were not good

Very entertaining

I’ve just returned to this book for the second or third time after reading some of LK’s darker novels. Like a breath of fresh air! I hope she’ll return to more series like the wallflowers.

Great performance

I really enjoy Rosalyn Landor’s audio performances. Decent storyline by Lisa Kleypas, too. I’ve listened to this book a few times and I still like it.

Enjoyable, lovely story.

I loved this writer. The stories are nice and don’t end at the wedding night.
The characters are well developed and they the story makes me believe in love. I think the narrator was excellent. I will be buying the series.
