I love all of Lisa Kleypas books!

I loved both main characters and the slow burn she does so well. Rose was hilarious! I laughed so loud when she asked about Zack sleeping with two women at his party. The secondary romance with Liz and Jason was sweet. I wish the epilogue would have been a few years later so we could find out if they had any children and to see what that adorable Rose has been up too.

I will always read and re-read Lisa Kleypas books. She has the most unforgettable characters (Ravenels, Sebastian, Evie, Simon, Abigail, the list goes on and on). Lisa, you are amazing and I enjoy your creativity and sense of humor.

Captivating from the first page

I loved reading this book. It was truly a delicious read, keeping me engaged all the way through. Lisa Kleypas is a master at Victorian romance, developing characters we grow to love and admire in spite of their imperfections.

I’ve bought all of Lisa’s books throughout the years in their changing formats: hard copies which took up space now donated to our local library, then same titles in digital ebooks on Nook and Kindle. Now starting to collect all LK audiobooks voiced by ROSALYN LANDOR. I can say Ms LANDOR had been in my ear for the whole year now as I go to sleep repeating favorite chapters I’ve heard 5x before. Where Dreams Begin is representative of LK’s body of work. Ms LANDOR is the G. O. A.T. of narration. The gold standard. Enjoy!

Couldn’t stop listening!!

The build up in the story was fantastic! I wish the end wouldn’t have been so rushed… Really like the way this writer writes and moving onto another one of her books. Loved this!!!!

Great love story

I’ve love a good reformed rake story, Lisa Kleypas knows how to create that mad love imagery and Rosalyn Landor as always delivers. Some of the reviews said that it’s not realistic or believable but of course that’s why we love fiction🙂

Mr Bronson is swoon

Ending was a bit disappointing… felt a bit rushed. But the build up was fab and Mr Bronson is sexy. I’m here for it.

I thought the ending was a bit rushed. I liked the story was great and characters were likable just wish the relationship as married couple and stepfather would have been addressed a bit more

missed the mark

i love landor and have been enjoying kleypas greatly lately. but this book… well, it missed the mark by a mile. i don’t need historical romance to be historically accurate, but it needs to feel believable, and this book simply didn’t. almost from the beginning it was just quite silly to imagine any of it actually happening.

i couldn’t finish reading. i was about to stop out of boredom, but then the casual homophobia displayed by the hero decided it for me. ironically, that part may be historically accurate and believable, but it was unnecessary to the story and a major turn off. it was also a turn off that he displayed such disrespect for a lady he had invited into his home, by allowing his nighttime activities to be known by all.
