Publisher's summary

The Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster phenomenon continues in the first heart-pounding new adult romance in The Maddox Brothers series.

Fiercely independent Camille "Cami" Camlin gladly moved on from her childhood before it was over. She has held down a job since before she could drive, and moved into her own apartment after her freshman year of college. Now tending bar at The Red Door, Cami doesn’t have time for much else besides work and classes, until a trip to see her boyfriend is cancelled, leaving her with a first weekend off in almost a year.

Trenton Maddox was the king of Eastern State University, dating co-eds before he even graduated high school. His friends wanted to be him, and women wanted to tame him, but after a tragic accident turned his world upside down, Trenton leaves campus to come to grips with the crushing guilt.

Eighteen months later, Trenton is living at home with his widower father, and works full-time at a local tattoo parlor to help with the bills. Just when he thinks his life is returning to normal, he notices Cami sitting alone at a table at The Red.

As the baby sister of four rowdy brothers, Cami believes she’ll have no problem keeping her new friendship with Trenton Maddox strictly platonic. But when a Maddox boy falls in love, he loves forever - even if she is the only reason their already broken family could fall apart.

In the first installment of the Maddox Brothers books, listeners can experience the rush of hearing Beautiful Disaster for the first time, all over again.

Enjoyed it!! The Maddox brothers did it again :)

**spoliers contained**

I love the Maddox brothers!!
McGuire is great at creating cool character backgrounds and personality, but I still want to see more of thier past and their development. Some of the problems are still not really sloved like Cami's family and their relationship with Trenton. The brother said they were fine but I didn't really buy it. There is still the problem with her dad. Things aren't really completed in my opinion.
I also like how this book is tied in with the previous stories as event overlap. I like that Cami and Travis interact and such, but some part such as the fire is too emphasized and the time could have been elsewhere.
Let's hope I get to see more of Cami and Trenton from the next books in the series, definitely expexting it in the one with Thomas, that was a good surprise.
There are still more that I have wanted from this book, nevertheless I still really enjoyed it! So yes it is getting a 3.75-4 from me ;)

Much better than I expected!

I was hesitant to listen to it (after the Travis and Abby books) because of so many other negative reviews so I actually skipped it and went on with the rest of the Beautiful (Maddox boys) series, and just came back to this one before the final book. I wish I wouldn't have skipped it. I don't understand what everyone was complaining about. I thought it was great! It's a great introduction to the rest of this wonderful addicting series!

💕 Trent is my favorite!

I love this book! Trent is such a sweetheart and really goes to show how much Cami means to him. Little Olive is adorable! I was surprised with how close Trent is to little Olive. Made me fall for him even more. I love how all the Maddox bros books tie in together. It was such a ride with this book and you end up mesmerized once you’re hooked on the book!
I definitely recommend reading after Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster because you can see how everything ties in with each story.
Love you, Jaime McGuire!

College Romance

A little childish and immature. Not my cup of tea but it was well written. At least the main heroine is not weak or whining. I probably won’t continue with this series. Too young for my old a$$.

Good, but similar to Beautiful Disaster.

Overall, I liked this book. I love Cami's whit. What I really loved about this book was the last sentence, sent chills down my body!! I did lose interest a little during the chronic back and forth (break up, make up, run away, back together). I do love these Maddox brothers!

Whoa!

I'm still questioning weather I heard all of that right! Such a spin and completely blindsided! Which is über odd because I generally know the punch line WAY ahead!

Adding Jamie McGuire to my Favorites list!

As always, I enjoyed this book by Jamie McGuire!

I've grown to love the Maddox boys in the couple of books I've read so far and can't wait to continue on with the next one.

Beautiful Oblivion is Trenton's story. It's packed full of sarcasm, playing hard to get, and some twists and turns. I was blown away with the ending, it was driving me mad trying to figure out what secret Cami was keeping, but I NEVER would have guessed that! Wow, just wow. I have no words for the shock I felt! Loved it.

I loved all the time at the tattoo shop, it has me craving some new ink myself. ;)

I like that the books are all the same basic timeline and we get to see what was going on behind the scenes with the other characters. It answered a few questions I had from Travis' story.

I'm in the process of downloading the next book, so I'm off to continue reading.

Love the Maddox Boys

If you loved Beautiful Disaster then you'll love this too. It wasn't as good as Beautiful Disaster but well worth the listen. It had an interesting twist at the end that I totally wasn't expecting. Keep giving us great books Jaime!
