This book is part of the Soul a Summoner series. I highly recommend reading/listening to it. The narrator, Joel does a fantastic job narrating the story and portraying Azrael. I absolutely loved listening to his story. I highly recommend!!

Great for backstory
Well, after reading this a lot is fallen into place for me as to what the author did and meant to do in the story line. I very much enjoyed this audiobook. If you can get past Azreal’s character, meaning he is serious all the time...as my husband says “he’s cancelled recess because he don’t play,” then you will be fine. His voice is steady the entire book, but as I have read the kindle versions that’s how I picture him in my head. At first it got to me, but then I had to remind myself of the character and then I was fine. Enjoyed the book and am so looking forward to the last book of the series!!!

Another UNBELIEVABLE read!!
I literally have no idea how Elicia Hyder continues to amaze her readers with this series. This was the back story of Azrael and it was 100% perfect!! Everything about it was great. It tied up some loose ends and filled in some gaps. It gave me a little glimpse of his life with Nadine and before Warren. And I loved that we got to hear a little of Flint's back story as well.
And the narrator? OMG ~ PURE PERFECTION!
Getting to the point in there series definitely makes me want to go back and read the entire series again. It is such a spectacular series.

Love this Soul Summoner companion story!!
Such a great back story for Azrael!! Knowing his and Nadine's story added a lot to the story and series. The narrator did a great job with this story. Elicia Hyder is a great author and writer. Her writing style makes you actually picture certain scenes. She will bring the emotions out of you but in a good way. Love Elicia Hyder and Azrael!!

Love The Soul Summoner Series
I loved the storyline and content of this book, but I wasn't crazy about the narrator. I liked the fact that he changed the sound of his voice for different characters, but his tone was so flat and monotonous.

Phenomenal!
Amazing job by both the author and the narrator. This entire series as amazing and The Arcangel was no exception. These books are a must have for any fans of the urban fantasy or supernatural genre. If you haven't read the Soul Summoner series yet, what are you even doing with your life?

Amazing story
I'm actually in the middle of reading Book 3 in the Soul Summoner Series. In that book we are 1st introduced to Azrael, so I thought it was a fitting time to read his backstory which is this book. It was actually the perfect time to read it. I feel much more connected now to Warren, Azreal and the angel's stories. This has been such a great series!
