Publisher's summary

I have attended more than 500 weddings over 22 years. I have been privy to couples' most intimate moments as they share their hopes for their relationship and fears that arise before the ceremony, and as they work through the inevitable issues that come up afterward.

No, I am not a wedding crasher, I just happen to be married to a rabbi. Rethink Love is for anyone who is in love, wants love, or wishes to rekindle love. Relationships can be our biggest source of joy and our biggest source of pain. Every relationship has its problems, but the ones that work are the ones we consistently work on.

Difficulties are not a sign of a bad marriage or a looming breakup. Challenges are a powerful signal that your relationship needs to evolve, and you are being called to reconnect to something greater, to evolve, and love more deeply. Love is not something we need to find, accumulate, or protect. It is something that we inherently possess, and the only way to receive it fully is to give it away. We have to throw away our misconceptions of what relationships are in order to embrace what they can be.

Rethink Love emphasizes on taking responsibility for the quality of your relationships, while offering practical pathways to immediate, long-lasting solutions for improving them. Every person is worthy of being loved, and every relationship has the potential to bring lasting fulfillment.

This woman is ridiculously amazing.

Monica gets vulnerable and bares her soul. Unpacks how to really do this life. So beautiful. I’ve listened 2x and plan to many more. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Inspiring, simple, and powerful

This book provided comfort to me when I was going through a very difficult time emotionally. This audio book became a compass to learn self love in order to be of love to others. Monica's words were uplifting and inspiring and helped me reconnect with the desire to truly have the certainty that true love is not only possible, but a birthright. Thank you Monica!

Must read for anyone who is in a relationship!

My favourite chapter was the last one on practice makes perfect, but the whole book is filled with endless practical tools that you can use on a day to day basis to enhance the quality of your relationship with yourself and others.

A great blessing!

Monica,

Thank you for writing this great book. It is full of information I wish, I had learned it a long time ago.

To anyone thinking about getting the book or the audiobook. It is so good that you will listen to it at the minimum twice. ;) and you probably end up getting both versions.

Worth listening to despite the Kabbalah connection

A general and insightful analysis of what makes a couple’s relationship work and vice versa. Worth listening to despite the Kabbalah connection. Lots of smart insight that have nothing to do with Kabbalah. Good advice for anyone, regardless of belief or religion.
