Publisher's summary

A murderer's victims haunt Cassie Quinn
The clues lie in shadowed whispers
Death holds no boundary for justice
To shine truth's light Cassie must walk through the darkness

The debut novel in the Cassie Quinn Series from USA Today best-selling author L.T. Ryan and K.M. Rought! A mystery thriller with a hint of paranormal that'll keep you guessing until the last minute!

"Fans of paranormal mystery will find a lot to sink their teeth into here!"

Cassie didn't ask to be a medium. But she shouldered the daunting task of easing the suffering of the tormented souls who came to her. For over a decade the FBI, police departments across the country, and dozens of private investigators sought her out for her special abilities. Then one day, the spirit world disconnected.

A fresh start proves harder than she thought when the ghost of a murdered woman appears in Cassie's home. With her gift returned, Cassie sets out to discover the meaning of the dead woman's message.

A killer who removes his victim's hearts is still on the loose. As Cassie races to stop him, she finds, hers may be the next one he takes. Her gift and grit are the only things separating her from crossing over the thin line between life and death.

A must-listen for fans of Ghost Whisperer and Medium! Listeners who like Gregg Olsen, Angela Marsons, Robert Dugoni, Melinda Leigh, Kendra Elliot, and Mary Burton will love Cassie Quinn!

Anticipation!

Anticipation is exactly how I feel about the next book, glad I already have it and now I'm going to start it.

If I you’re a Kay Hooper fan...

...this book is for you! If I listened to this book with out knowing it was written by a different author I might have thought it was written by Kay Hooper. This book is very well written. The characters are fleshed out and likable. And the story is interesting and held my attention.
I will not say it’s believable because I’m not really a believer in psychics but find the concept fascinating. Having once met a renowned psychic (Sylvia Browne) and told some BS out of no where I was immediately shut down when I tried to question her. But I still find the idea of psychic abilities entertaining.
Patricia Santomasso does a great job narrating.

Not my normal

Book was very entertaining. it's not what I normally go for. was well thought out and character building was in the medium range. had a good ending that will lead into the next book. there was a few areas that seemed a little rushed. I also like books that I can try and figure out the whodunit as the book progresses. this book does not let you do that. but I would recommend it

Awful Read

I can not stress how bad this story line is. I am so sorry I used my free point and wish I could get it back.
