I wasn’t expecting Trump rhetoric

The political opinions are irrelevant to the main point of this book. For that reason I took off stars. When it comes to breaking down strategies for selling to the affluent, it’s a great book. You just gotta weave through the garbage.

The Trump Info Was Actually Helpful

Understanding our current political climate and the economy a large in the beginning of this book set the narrative for the middle and conclusion. Very well written book that provides practical strategies and tactics for marketing to the three types of affluent. Highly recommend

Interesting relevant insights

Initially I only bought it because some moral narcissistic lefty tried to 'cancel' good old Dan by giving one star because he seems to talk politics.
It outlines the situation were Dan not shy's away to talk about politics in which I feel a strong agreement. No words about racism spotted, only economic truth.
As an entrepreneur it is important to deepen knowledge about No B.S. marketing to the 'Affluent', because those affluent people have spending power a prerequisite for business practices.
This book could be the missing piece of the puzzle you are looking for.
My takeaway: Disconnect price from product, by experience.

Super valuable and boring

Don't get me wrong the book is fantastic content wise, I just had to fight my way through cos it was not gripping for me. Might be different for you though! Definitely buying hard cover to be able to get back to it and use it as a Bible for marketing to the affluent.

Useful. I also disagree with his politics but--

What you're reading in other reviews about his love of a past president I personally strongly disagree with is true, *however* I think people are overlooking that if you can't sit through hearing bizarrely, uncomfortably worshipful opinions of That Guy, then you're maybe gonna have a tough time trying to attract or retain affluent clients. The very unfortunate and complex reality is that with precious few exceptions many of the people who have a lot of money want what they see as best for their family or company, and that means lower taxes and fewer regulations to them at whatever external cost or harm to anybody else. He makes an excellent point that to reach any customer you have to speak to them as they see themselves - not lucky or privileged or won the inheritance/networking lottery, but instead as hard working people who earned it and took tough risks. If you can't listen to his occasionally objectionable narrow worldview about things you're going to encounter the same issue trying to message or reach customers who, to the central purpose of the book, think and talk similarly to how he does. I see those segments with practicing my patience, and factor it into my thought process about my comfort level really reaching out to prospects who are far beyond my own economic class.

super awesome content

as a friend of Dr. David Phelps, who is mentioned in the book, and is a client of Dan Kennedys, this is the ultimate guide to today's business, and so amazed at the helpful content. I have sent copies to my son's, and friends!!!! Thanks for writing it and being transparently truthful.

Exactly as advertised

A concise audiobook. I have a handful of takeaways that are relevant to the yoga industry that I will experiment with.
