What?!

I thought I knew what was going on and then…I realized I’ve been as much as a pawn as Halen. I thought things were going to be wrapped up nicely in this book and I was completely surprised by the cliffhanger. But now I definitely have something to look forward to.

Psychologically Captivating

I adore Trisha’s writing. She wraps you up in suspense and intrigue. You think you know where the story is going and then you’re facing a whole new set of ideas and plot twists. This is a great second book in this series. The storyline is deeper and far more warped and the connection between the characters is far more intense. The ending leaves you satisfied but also very curious for the continuation. The narration is superb and Lucy performs with such intensity that you feel her characters depth and pain. Now for Joe. Joe is an enigma. His ability to use every aspect of his voice for tone, inflection, power and softness is truly mind blowing. A whisper from Joe can be more powerful than the deepest of growls. He constantly gives me chills with the beauty he produces in these dark romances.

Loved it

This book was way better than the last- which I loved - I only hated the female lead for the first half of the book- lol - seriously loved Calum! Now it's the waiting game for book 3! The male narrator is my absolute favorite! Love his voice so much!!

Stunning

As always Trisha writers a beautiful psychological thriller. Her ability to write a good psycho is alittle scary. Lol

What I love most about Trisha’s work is the amount of detail she strings through her stories. You can tell she did her homework and it shines through!

Intriguingly dark with captivating twists

I am hooked. Not only does the series have an addictive storyline but the delivery of the narrators is on point. I will be on the edge of my seat until the next one comes to audible

Interesting Story & Amazing Narration.

The story is great! The spicy bits are hot and the narrators are wonderful!
This series is provocative in it’s “otherness”. Very in line with other books I’ve read from Ms. Wolfe. I’ve loved every minute of all of them. If you’re looking for a spicy little adventure into the occult-lite, this one is for you!

I need more!! This book is so good! I couldn’t put it down! And the narration is phenomenal!

Loved this book and the narrators did such a good job. There were many twists and turns I didn’t see coming

The philosophy in these books get me lost lol

Maybe I’m not intelligent enough to decipher the philosophical content. Haha but the storyline and suspense kept me intrigued!
