Oh. My. Goodness!

I haven’t enjoyed a book so much in a while! So many twists and turns. Jericho is def my new book boyfriend. Burn down the world kind of love… ugh. I don’t know how this isn’t more popular. Narrators did a great job. Only wish the male narrator had more audio time. Purchasing next book now!

creative and layered!

I really enjoyed this book. The narrators and the details of all the characters and settings made this book come to life. The second one was a touch long. I found myself fast forwarding. Overall, highly recommend. Keri lake is becoming a top author for me! Obsessed!!!

Read this book

What an engaging story! Interesting, well-written and superbly performed. For fans of this genre, you will thoroughly enjoy this!

Under-rated

This book & author doesn't get enough hype. This is my first title by Keri Lake & won't be my last! I love audio books & when the performance is there, it makes it so much better, so thank you as well to the narrators.
As for the book, absolutely loved listening to it. it's a title I could listen to again & would buy a physical copy. If they made this into a Movie or Series, I would watch. Keeps your attention, never boring or stale. I love how they flash back to the past & reference the future as well. I will say I loved Lucetina(sp) and the Barron's story more. It was more moving & captivating vs Farren's more modern, ordinary life. The spice was good & balances the dynamics. Looking forward to the next book!

Interesting Gothic Paranormal Romance

I absolutely loved listening to this gothic paranormal romance. It took me a little while to find myself deep in the story, it's a bit of characters and general world building with a lot mystery in the beginning and it took me about half the book to stop wondering if I missed something or if I just wasn't supposed to understand yet. Such tends to be life when I start new worlds on audio as I can get distracted if I'm not making sure I'm paying attention.

The audio was great. I really enjoyed listening to Islay Jacobs and Ryan West narrate this story. I think my only complaint was that I couldn't always tell when Islay was voicing a male character, they weren't super different from her female voice... but overall I loved it.

That ending was a masterpiece and I'm so excited to dive into Infernium and find out how this story plays out.

A beautiful and tragic love story that transcends time and mortality- I loved every minute of this book.

Keri has such a talent for world building and creating the most fantastic and memorable characters. It’s not a surprise that Nightshade is one of my all time favorite reads of 2021! I didn’t think it was possible to make it even better but this audio does!!! These narrators were fantastic! They captured these characters perfectly.

Hang tight while you are transported in to a cruel world of torment, curses and prophecies centuries old. This world is filled with angels, demons, Sentinels, humans and everything in between. The past will merge with the present and transport you to parallel planes as well. Love and Romance….Can centuries old love be enough to bring them together or will evil prevail and keep them apart? Time will tell as Jericho and Farryn fight those forces. This is a complex read and should be read slowly to truly appreciate all the detail Keri shares. Everything has meaning.

I wasn’t quite ready to leave this unforgettable world. The ending of this story left us in a place where we can only anticipate Jericho and Farryn’s future. Keri’s brilliance and creativity keeps us anxiously awaiting her next installment, Infernium. Where will this story lead us?

I loved the story of these 2 lovers!!! Such a good read cannot wait to read the 2nd one!!!!

Angels…demons…mystery… and well a cult

My mind is blown away by this story, not only is the romance dark and twisted, but the mystery behind the pentacrux and all the fantasy type elements left me speechless. 👌🏻⭐️❤️

Spectacular!

I hardly know how to start this review. I've read Nightshade, but I can honestly say that these narrators have brought Jericho and Farryn's story to life in a way that took my breath away. The emotions are captured flawlessly and I had to stop occasionally to absorb it all.

This production is 20.5 hours of listening and it's pure pleasure. Everything that happens in this story has meaning and purpose and the intricate web that is Nightshade will capture you like the spider weaving that web. Prepare yourself for the gasp worthy moments, there are many!

Nightshade will leave you at a natural break in the story, it's not a horrible cliffhanger, but there is still so much more to be revealed. Fortunately for us, as the listener, Infernium (book 2) is already released, so I'm off to find out how the story ends!
