It's a hot read!

You have to have some ability to suspend disbelief to really get into it, but the story is worth it! Because we're totally reading it for the story and not the steamy parts, right? Neither will disappoint.

Kind of a slow burn but it’s worth the set up. Listened to it twice in a row. Can’t wait to buy the second one!!!

so glad we got a full length novel!!! loved the new Pov. narration were good. I rather listen then read. the duet narration always my favorite. .. can't wait for bloodbath.

Holy Hottness, But...

I had heard of nothing short of how spicy the scenes are and that was no joke. The novella was just the Halloween scene of this book, so 5-ish hours was the MC's beginning and finally some plot. So here is to hoping there is another audio coming, but there probably won't be since it there was an issue with a narrator and author.

Not much of a storyline

Unpopular opinion, I’ve heard a lot about how good this book
Is. And don’t get me wrong the voice actors do a great job. It is definitely a very erotic book but for me the storyline was a little shallow and couldn’t hold my attention

My favorite series

I love this series from Molly Doyle. These books are amazing and it keeps me wanting more. It’s hard to stop listening. Definitely worth the read if you’re thinking about it.

Fantasies brought to life

I loved the entire series. Finished it in less than a day. I hope we can get more in the series.

Read it and don’t listen

I think this books is great. However the voices on the audiobook kind of ruined it for me. I think I will give this a re-read in a month or so to see if I can enjoy it more.

disappointed

I was really hoping this would be more than what it was. If I hadn't read Scream for Us, I think I'd still feel the same way. It was a full length novel that felt like a prequel and didn't have a lot of depth. And considering Scream for Us exists, it feels like Doyle should've left that as a prequel and developed the story from there on out with Bloodshed. i understand she has to work within the constraints of what she's already written, but it still feels like this could've been executed better. I also cringed and rolled my eyes countless times. I laughed a lot at least, although it was usually at the book. the production also wasn't the best, and the narrators had a lot of weird pauses where there shouldn't have been pauses and no pauses where there really needed to be pauses. Micah's and Quinn's narrators were my favorite and had the least issues in my opinion.

Overall 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 🌶️🌶️ spice: My deductions/ratings are on personal preference only. I struggled with this one and almost DNF simply because I couldn’t stand the choice of dirty talk verbiage sometimes, and I felt like almost every spice scene was group oriented. But again total personal preference. I also wish there was a little more progression/details included plot wise to propel the story more. It felt a little sluggish.
