Amazing!

So good I couldn’t stop turning the page. I wish it didn’t end. From the narration to the story it is great.

Another Brilliant Suspense…

I absolutely love the way Rick Molina writes and drags me into his stories and the way I feel at the exact moment the characters does. The only draw back with this for me, was the way the reader started out. I had to struggle through her slowness and stand offish way of reading in the first few chapters. If you will hold on a few… It’s definitely worth the wait! Wonderful Twisted Suspense Rick Mofina! Cheers 🤗

Great story and Narration

Yes, it is a bit on the lengthy side but I was so engrossed it didn’t matter. So many twists and possible suspects that I wasn’t sure who was the culprit or what was going to happen.

Great story, but…

It was sooo long… My husband and I listened to it on a recent road trip and he kept asking how much time was remaining. We almost gave up a few times, but we didn’t… we were hooked on the story! Performance was fantastic, which help make up for the length.

Too long! Tedious!

This novel needed another edit! The plot meandered and lost momentum. These weren't plot twists, they didn't advance the story. It seemed whole sections where the cops went down dead ends could have been edited out to make a tighter, more fast paced book. Annoyed I bothered with this one.

Waaay tooo longggg…

This story has an interesting premise but…
And here is the tragic flaw, too much useless information that does not deliver on two of the most important literary techniques: 1. Does it progress the story to an interesting conclusion. 2. Does the narrative provide clear character development.
Far too much was left to the end, with little to no foreshadowing regarding the conclusion.
The narrator did ok with female voices, but Greg and Jake were abominable.

Overall, this is a story I would not recommend to a friend.

Not bad, but

I went with 4 stars overall because I was interested in finishing and mostly enjoyed the story. I agree with some other reviewers that it was overlong, including too much useless information and I increased the speed for a while. The end was just okay and I felt that of all the red herrings thrown at us it lacked much pizzazz. The narrator is important in a story and this one used too much sweetness or expressiveness, like reading to kids or something.
