    "Good info"

This book provides good information that makes sense. Following the suggestions in the book and avoiding foods the book says I should be avoiding for my blood type does actually make a positive difference in how I feel.

The narrator speaks clearly, but is somewhat dull to listen to. The content is short though so it does not take long to get through. I enjoy audio books so I can listen in my car and incorporate extra books that I want to read, but do not have time to. This book was great to listen to and the information was easy to understand while listening, but I would recommend buying the hard-copy of the companion book Cook Right For Your Type, which has detailed lists of foods for each blood type along with a lot of recipes and good information, it helps a lot.

What made the experience of listening to Eat Right for Your Type the most enjoyable?

If, like me, you love books that either confirm right decision you made as sound, or cause you to make wrong decisions you made right - this is your kind of book.

What did you like best about this story?

The progressive evolution of blood types was news to me.

What about Polly Adams’s performance did you like?

    She's low key, not pushy.

"Came recommended, but I wouldn't pass that on"

I have had many people tell me they had fantastic results using the guidelines in this book. I read it and found the blood type evolution interesting, but had problems with the lack of citations for the "studies" the author quotes in the book. Maybe a PDF along with it would have been better? Along with food the author also talks about the different blood types reactions to vaccines, drugs and supplements, which, again, was interesting, but incomplete in the audio format. The narrator was good most of the time, but at times it sounded like she had a smile in her voice when the tone should have been more serious, as when talking about different blood types predisposition to disease. Wanted to like it, but I couldn't.

"Introduction to a very extend theory on nutrition"

This book is only a small introduction to a theory that has huge implications. As that, it only describes the theory and justify it's conclusions without rigorus detail. Nevertheless is worth to give it a though.

    "4 blood types"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    not sure

Would you ever listen to anything by Peter J. D'Adamo and Catherine Whitney again?

    probably not

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Polly Adams?

    polly adams was fine

What character would you cut from Eat Right for Your Type?

    none

    Any additional comments?

not sure if this books is based on people who are obese or just because of your blood type i listened to this book for a friend to see if she should follow it but i think is more for people who ate far to much fried food and the problems associated with it i have not suffered any stated with my blood type most likely because i wasnt brought up to eat fatty foods just heaps of vegies and fruit and small amounts of meat and i continue to eat healthy

    "Facinating but a stretch"

This seemed to me to be one of those things that take some truth and expound on it with opinions. In other words, a theory. It was a fascinating theory and may hold some truth. But, as an 0 blood type, I couldn't bring myself to eat a diet of meat and no grains. It just felt too unhealthy. But who knows, it may have worked. Adkins does. But it doesn't make it healthy.

What disappointed you about Eat Right for Your Type?

This book was totally disappointing. It was a how to book based on ZERO facts

What could Peter J. D'Adamo and Catherine Whitney have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The best way for this book to been better was not to write it!

Would you be willing to try another one of Polly Adams’s performances?

Yes she ready well but unfortunately she had nothing to read

What character would you cut from Eat Right for Your Type?

    NONE

    "Book shows bias."

The read was a cleverly disguised milk bashing book that also bashes wheat gluten and pushes pineapple. This is the first "health" book I have read that pushed Pineapples. Not just once, multiple chapters promoted pineapples. Makes you wonder about the author's intentions.
