Good read
The only reason I did not give this a excellent read, as I thought, a lot of the sexual back and play detracted from the overall story. Take away all that, and you have an excellent book in my opinion.

The stories are simply read to you
There are actors performing the story for the listener and then there are narrators simply reading to you. Even speeding up Carl Mason’s narration it was still snail slow. Weird pauses between words and sentences, then absolutely no pause not even a breath between complete scene changes. Suddenly the scene is in the hospital beside a victim’s bed without pause, rewind rewind, oh! Action scenes are read at same level cadence as conversations, romance, introduction scenes. And then there are repeating phrases throughout. “The English country garden with box hedg—the English country garden with box hedging” is only one example. Never had to rewind so much, in each book, sorry to say. There are three remaining books but….
