Regrettably it has been revised & edited
Just an FYI - this book has been edited to appeal to today’s readers. Seems we cannot be trusted to interpret original material with regard to its publication era- maybe even learn from it. Too bad. The author passed away in 2007, its unknown if she herself approved these changes. Loved that Rosalyn Landor once again delivered a 5 star narration performance! And despite revisions, the storytelling from KEW was strong… however, original text is always preferable.

Stories unsurpassed in today’s writing.
Mrs, Woodiwiess just couldn’t write enough books for my desire. I miss the long development that just isn’t matched with writers today.
