Publisher's summary

It all started in college, in the turbulent sixties, when Randolph and Jenna became lovers. Randolph knew the moment he saw Jenna Haywood that he had to make her his. But the path to love is not an easy one. His wealthy Grandmother Julia disapproves of the match and unbeknowst to him, his brother’s seemingly docile fiancee has a few plans of her own that she would like to set in motion. Betrayal and devastation lurks in unexpected places and tests the bond they believed was unbreakable. As they struggle with love and passion, secrets and lies the question is: Is love enough to help them see each other through the storms that await them ahead?

BSJ Always!

As always BSJ weaves a great family story full of love and depth. This story was suspenseful and touching, I just wish Angela had gotten more of a comeuppance.

Catchy Plot

It’s underlying theme is catchy without an overindulgence of mystery and suspense. It is a nice relaxing distraction from everyday maladies.

Great ties

I enjoyed this story, it was a lot of family challenges and deception, mean spirited people. It dealt with the prejudice within the race and the have and have nots. JeremyIt addressed the many struggles that this family faced. I enjoyed the entire story. This book was hard to put down, it started out with energy and it stayed that way until the end

A generation of love.

once again Mrs. Jackson has created a masterpiece of love. Ron Butter is the best narrator. she should never allow someone else read her collection of stories.

Exceptional!

I chose to start this book on our trip to Louisiana since we were driving. It was one of the best decisions ever because i drove with no worries of feeling tired at all. This book held my attention from start to finish and the narrator did an amazing job. I went through so many emotions listening to this one. I will be looking for more BJ books!
