White Lines continued with its drama!

White Lines continued with its drama. Although there were a lot of "unfinished" business and hanging story lines it was still a great read! Tracy Brown left her fans yearning for more. She is truly in her element and the White Lines series proves this!! Wonderful and drama packed read...ENJOY!!

Loved It!

I really enjoyed part 2! I thought the story line was a great pick up from part 1. I also enjoyed how Tracy is mixing characters from snapped into white lines. I was not disappointed. Just anxious for white lines 3!!

Good book.

This was a good book. Sometimes the narrators tend to high o a bit over board when narrating and trying to bring the book to life. She is a good narrator though. I'm looking forward to reading book three & its being narrated by my FAVORITE NARRATOR NICOLE SMALL SO I know its a MUST READ

Great book. Bad ending

The narrator is awesome. The sound effects I can do without. Part 1 was better. I really got to know the characters. This book was good also. It held my attention HOWEVER it ends horrible. Why would you end a book that way with so many unanswered questions. So may differentry scenarios were going on in this book but none solved. Definitely a cliff hanger and left me upset. lol

good edition to part 1

it was a great story line and a great edition to part one ,but it was overly drawn out. they could haveade itore exciting like part one. I'm sceptical about reading part 3 but at the same time I want to know what happens with sunny and Malcolm.

Good read, but ready for Whitelines III

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend it, but only because they may be a little lost if they only listen to Whitelines I and III

What did you like best about this story?

A bridge between Book 1 and 2 was good for the details, but not sure it was absolutely necessary. I did like the coverage of Sunny's background and story, but again not sure it was really relevant to Jada and Born's story...

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

She did a good job with the variety of voices and characters that she needed to portray, but I was confused as to why if these characters were based in NY and from NY why did some of them have 'country like' accents (i.e., Sunny, Born's Mother, Sunny's Father...)

If you could take any character from White Lines II: Sunny out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Born...I can only conjure up an image of him in head, it would be nice to see him in person to see what the fuss is all about

Okay with the cliffhanger

The book was good and I liked it just as much as the first one. I know some reviewers did not like the cliffhanger but it did not bother me as much because I knew I already had the 3rd book downloaded. I still don't like the narrator very much and thinks her voices do not adequately portray the characters. Finally, I need Born and Jada to get it together enough of these near misses already. Also, that little Jamari is just a little too evil to be a child it is spooky.

You Can't Run Away From the Effects

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend because it shows how drugs can effect your past, future and present but the only way to navigate through it is to dig deep and find a strength that can not be broken. I think both ladies in the next book are going to need that strength.

What was one of the most memorable moments of White Lines II: Sunny?

I think the most memorable moment was when Mercedes told Sunny about how she was so proud of her mother for no longer being on drugs even though Sunny knew she was using. This situation did not make her stop using but made her feel so bad that she wanted to use more. This was the same issue that Jada had in the first book where her guilt of her lies made her want to cover it up with drugs. I think that this scene shows how powerful an addiction can be. I was hoping that Mercedes love and belief in her mother would have stopped Sunny from continuing but in the end it wasn't enough.

Have you listened to any of Allyson Johnson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to the first White Lines Novel and I think she did way better and was more settled in the characters where they sounded more distinct.

If you could take any character from White Lines II: Sunny out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I think it would be Born. He sound like a wonderful man and I think he loves Jada but I can see where he is struggling to understand and be there for her. I would like to provide unbiased perspective on the situation.
