R.I.P. Tracy Brown I was so engaged in the story from start to finish, the ending of this story made you want more. I’m sorry that it’s not possible. I would recommend this book.

The book

I will definitely miss reading Tracy Brown's book. This book was definitely a good one.

Not the best, not the worst, but horrible ending

I didn't like the ending. It felt like a cliffhanger. I didn't mins the narrator. I supposed because I never been to New York, and unsure of their accent. I guess it was an OK book but I was expecting more after reading the reviews.

The story

Great story, great performance, should be made into a movie or play. Author has passed away and now will go back and reading her older stuff.

I hated the narrator's voice as every character. It was too much and also way too obvious. that made it a little harder to enjoy the audio version

Horrible ending

The horrible accents, not sure what type of accent the reader was speaking but surely wasn’t NY or Maryland accents

New York accents stand out

Super fast moving story, high drama in a prosperous Black church and it’s secretive connection to the local drug trade

The awful narration

I liked the story. It was compelling and paced very well. The narration and accents almost ruined it for me.

It was a good story line. The ending was a little lackluster.

The narration almost made me not finish it. The accents message it difficult to enjoy.

I love the book. Tracy has some great work. The narrator made me cringe so much. I just didn’t care for the narrator. I love the story though.
