just as good as I remember.
I read this book when it first came out and loved it. I'm not a book reader so I knew I was never going to read it again. I'm so glad it is on audio. After listening to it my mind on the book as not changed. I'm hoping that the sequel will be on audio soon.

Just wow!
The very first chapter is a intense hook and had me glued. I would understand how this book isn't for everyone, but for the POC in the LGBTQ+ community this mirrors their life to a T. Thank you Lee for being fearless in this piece because I know it took guts to tell this story.

As a game, who is a huge fan of drama, thriller, and suspense movies. I am beyond happy with this book. I really want the author as well as the narrator to please do more of these type of audiobooks. I am so off that this was the only one like this.😩 I NEED MORE!!!!!

Okay story…
This was an okay story, but I thought that it was a bit too “PG 13” for me! I also didn’t care for the narrators voice… overall though it brought some light to the fact that domestic violence comes in all forms, and facets! I’m happy that this author did show that.
