Nasir and that mouth!

This story wasn’t your traditional love story nor is it NSFW which I quickly learned, however, I enjoyed every minute of it while working on mundane PowerPoint presentations. Whew Chile, I wasn’t ready for Nasir and that filthy mouth was nothing to play with, lol. He knew what he wanted and went after it. Fellas, be more like Nasir and don’t sleep on the nerdy girls! Separately, I was happy to see DJ Joey from the book DND make a cameo.

Loved it

This book did not disappoint at all. It gave me all the feels. The narrators were great. I need a part 2.!

Female Narrator is not good at all

I’m only on chapter 4, but the female narrator makes this hard to get through. I love Winston James. I don’t think he will help me get through this book. I hate I wasted money on this. I guess I’ll put this in the DNF pile.

Uggghh

The story was great. The narrators did not fit with the story especially the female. I managed to get past their voices but whew! it was hard.

Wow!

What a dynamic and interesting story; filled with drama and mayhem. One could guess all hell would break loose at some point. Can’t wait to listen to book two. Narrators are excellent at bringing the characters to life in living color just by infusing each with the passion and fire required. On to the next book!

Good book ... Hate Cliffhangers🥺

First, this book should have been advised of being a CLIFFHANGER in the details because some people like myself read books when sequels are available not before. Secondly I think the narrators should be required to connect with each other as well as with the author BEFORE they begin recording to make sure that they are saying the characters names the same. Each time the narrators switched in this book I was annoyed as Winston said LYNNeah & Ja'Air said LAnia. I'm a fan of Winston & this is my second time hearing Ja'Air, they both delivered well the name thing as well as so many mispronounced or missed words just blew me😭 ... Lastly the story was good, it just sucks as this is a new release so who knows when we'll get the sequel .....

CLIFFHANGER was worth it!

I knew going in to this story that it would end in a cliffhanger thanks to te reviews. But the story was so well written and the narrators did such a good job that I’m glad I still listened. Now, that doesn’t mean I’m not on pins and needles waiting to see if Tay Monae will have part 2 released on Audible sometime soon! Come on Sis, I need to know what happened next!

good storyline

This book has a great storyline. Tay Mo'nae you are a terrific writer! Narrators are very important when telling a story. Winston James did an awesome job...however Ja'Air Bush was exhausting and boring.
