HOLDING MY BREATH

This is the second book by this author. It kept my interest and my nerves on the edge. I was happy/unhappy with the ending. Mentally I was demanding more. I can't wait for the next book to find out Sunnys future.

Exciting

Brown has really learned to write a great novel. White Lines 2 is so much better than one. The characters are drawn more firmly and sophistication of word use is apparent. I was engrossed in the storyline. Very well done. I was shocked that the story was not finished. I was on the edge of my seat, it was exciting and shocking! I was only disappointed that we did not find out if Born and Jamari were really brothers. There’s so much more story to tell! Can’t wait to read #3!

Very good narrator !!

Only thing I didn’t like is animal cruelty I know it’s just a book but that made me cringe so badly I DESPISE ANIMAL CRUELTY maybe it should have been a disclaimer!

I would recommend.

Great book and story line. I loved the way the author details of the characters lives as they evolve. The book was great and the performance was great....love her voice. The book ended abruptly, which is a good set up for the next book

Could've been Good

This couldve been a spectacular read had it not ended so abruptly. It just wasnt long enough, and it was definitely not better that White Lines 1.

I really enjoy listening to Tracy Brown's books

Where does White Lines II: Sunny rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

What I liked about this audiobook is the narrator and the way she distinguished between the characters. This book kept my attention all the time. I enjoy books about being a survivor of your circumstances. I would rank this as a 5 star listen.

Would you be willing to try another book from Tracy Brown? Why or why not?

Yes. I hope she writes a White Lines III as this book did end abruptly and left you hanging.

What does Allyson Johnson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Yes she does. I really liked the way she can change her voice.

If you could take any character from White Lines II: Sunny out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take Jada. She appears to be a more interesting character.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoy Tracy Brown's books. The only problem is her abrupt endings that kind of leave you hanging. Now I am hoping there will be a White Lines III because I want to know what happened to Sunny, did Jada get married, how is her son doing, etc?

Allyson Johnson has such a beautiful voice. I love when she changes her voice for the different characters and I also enjoy the sound effects she uses.

If you could take any character from White Lines II: Sunny out to dinner, who would it be and why?

If I could take any character out to dinner, I would take Malcolm because he was so romantic and charasmatic.
