Pretty good read!! 🥰

The story is captivating, the drama and action will keep you wanting more. 😊

It does have a little bit of a steamy part but for the most of it its drama between an officer and it student. Ok, with that said it was worth a credit my only complaint it the male narrator. 🙄

Don’t get me wrong for the most part I did like both narrators but the male was too much. I felt like he was too intense in his performance maybe it’s the way the book is written mmm 🤔 am not sure but it did bother enough that in some occasions I had to put the book down and walk away. But even though all that I will be getting book 2 to find out what happens… 🤗 oh it’s a cliffhanger and you won’t believe how intense the ending becomes 🫣🫢

What a world!!

I love the world that Krista Street has created around the SF and the people employed there and the people they protect. What a fantastic place to visit. I have read the next books so without giving anything away, I just want to say that cheering for Avery and Wyatt is a worthwhile adventure. 😉 Wyatt is a very intense character, but ever with that, I wasn’t prepared for the intensity Zachary Johnson brought to the table. It became easier once I was a few chapters in and more braced. The torch and emotions he feels for Avery are very easily heard and felt throughout the book and it is a heartwarming and exciting listen. Thanks to Krista for such a fantastic book and thanks to Sarah and Zachary for a well done performance.

Great start to new series.

Fantastic!!! Great dual narration. Well paced story that drew me in completely! What happens next?!?!?!?! Ends on a cliffhanger, but what a great start.

Good story, it grabs your attending and you sit on the edge of your chair hoping something steamy happens.
I like Sara Pavelec's voice, she is how imagine Avery sounds. Though I realize Wyatt is stressed out because of his feelings for Avery, I wish Zachary didn't make Wyatt sound as extreme.

Can't wait to start the next book!!

Excellent Story!

Perfect narration by Sarah & Zachary. Can’t wait for book two to find out the mystery! This one is good but it’s different than the common shifter stories.

Ohhhhh my goodness!

Ok so I know I’m not a writer but a reader so bare with me as I try to explain why this is one of the best books I’ve heard in a while. I’m a first time reader of this author and I’m totally impressed. The chapters flow nicely and I wasn’t trying to guess the two main characters relationship or how they clicked. I didn’t have to go back thru the chapters to figure out what I’d missed.
In the beginning I was wondering if I’d like this book because I’ve tried to read stories in this genre and before I would decide if it was worth buying it on Audible. After the first chapter reading I realized this was good and looked it up to see who the narrators were- couldn’t take a chance on rough narration that would change the way i experienced this book. Zachary Johnson made it a definite YES! Yummmm…Now I am totally addicted to this series! The beginning of the love story between Avery and Wyatt and their dual POV is not only heartwarming and spicy yet also totally believable. It was so easy to get lost in the world that was created and the characters that were easy to connect to on a personal level. I do hope for the happily ever after ending because I’ll be disappointed and maybe a little angry if Avery and Wyatt don’t find their way back to each other.
Now it’s time to get all of them! At this point I don’t care how much they cost because I’m totally addicted.
Hope you like the books as much as I have.

Loved it!!!

Once I started listening to this book, I couldn't stop. It has this slightly toxic male thing going on, but it's made in a way that you understand his thoughts and reasoning, and let's face it, men are generally not the best communicators 😄
All the characters are great and the story moves along at a good pace. The narrators are both really good and I honestly can't say anything bad about it except for the fact that it ends on a cliffhanger and forces you to get the next one, but although I usually hate that, I don't mind it in this case. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Tried to Finish

The romance was sappy and the action was boring. I did like Mr. Johnson’s voice.
