I recommend this book…7-21-2021
Good start to this series. I enjoyed the differences in authors thoughts on dragon shifters and human mating. Looking forward to seeing what happens in book 2.

Pretty Good
Good start to an interesting story. Similarities to other books in this genre but still good. Narrators were good; however, wish Sierra didn’t always sound so breathy.

very good read! just loved it!
I liked the characters and this was a new shifter romance for me. have read some wolf shifter ones but not dragon. I liked the overall story and couldn't stop listening.

Fated Mates, Dragon and Human, Result in 18 Years separation
A kiss on a 16th birthday party between best friends causes an unnecessary 18 year separation.
There is no precedent for a human mate and due to the declaration of the clans alpha and the fear that rides the male dragon, 18 years separate a loving couple.
Suspense, romance, misunderstanding and meddling parents and clan members can’t keep those who are fated to be together to join.

A steamy second chance
A sizzling second chance.
The dual narration did a great job of breathing life into these characters. I craved a solid dragon romance and got it with the steamy pairing of Sky and Anthony. While I felt Tessa got away with far too much and wanted Anthony to be a bit more protective when it came to her, I'm satisfied with Anthony and Skylar's happy ending.

Will read the series but not listen
Enjoyed the storyline; hated the voice acting of the male narrator. Had to increase the speed so he didn’t sound so robotic. He also did not sound like an alpha at all. Since he is also the male narrator for the rest of the series I won’t continue to listen. I find it hard to believe the author imagined a voice like this for her alpha.
