Very practical & actionable

Be Calm is a very good guide. It is a wonderful way to understand anxiety and what needs to be done to overcome at anxiety that can get in everybody’s way.

should help with anxiety

It is worth a listen and I believe it is well intended. A good perspective and refresher to be mindful and exercise. Also good resource List. I haven't checked them yet but I hope they are current. One area that wasn't discussed was the importance of play. I was exhausted listening to how much I would have to practice to overcome anxiety and find peace. I couldn't wait to get done with the book and color. One point that I took away is to give up eliminating anxiety. For me that could turn out to be a big step in living life more fully.

it was worth a listen

listening to the audio book I was reminded how to handle certain situations I would say this is a good book if you want to remind yourself that you can handle things also good for people who feel they have anxiety or are anxious

Couldn't get used to the narration....

The narration is slightly better than those text-to-voice softwares. I didn't expect a performance in a non-fiction book, but it's so robotic, it's annoying....

Just ok

It is a good book, however I was waiting for a different content, more focus on mindfulness than on disorder treatments. Anyhow, it is a well written and practical book.

Extremely helpful for anxiety

Struggled at first to keep listening.
However, weeks after decided to give it another try and it was worth the listen.

It explains a lot of common sense ways of dealing with anxiety, which is a great way of making you literally CALM

Good Ideas and strategies but....

it definitely gives you things to work on however what if your anxiety comes from real trauma and absolutely overwhelming issues? This it does not address, if you are facing life and death issues on a daily basis she assumes you are not. Maybe most people aren't. if you cannot pinpoint where your anxiety is coming from this is an excellent way to work through it and find out where it comes from and what to do about it. everyone does have some issues like that so this book can be helpful.
