okay, this was such a cute small-town romance. I loved every bit of it. I just loved pretty girl, she was so cute. dad got me made there for a bit. but I'm glad he came to his senses. well I'm just glad everything worked out in the end.

Sweet story

Kat Auden and Scott Rose did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life. The narration, storyline and character development were perfect. Can’t wait for the rest of the series

Rhett and Presley

Rhett is a single dad and rancher. His wife passed away when his daughter was born. What heartache to gain a beloved child only to lose the love of your life. He is emotionally tied to his deceased wife, and invests all of himself into his daughter and the ranch. The little girls is well loved and cared for by her dad, and their extended family. This sweet little girl is the one to bring Presley into the picture. Presley is the new nurse in town, and helps clean up Hadley after a minor injury. One thing leads to another, and Rhett and Presley hit it off. Love that Presley is not jealous or threatened by the deceased spouse. Love that Hadley has such a big open heart that she welcomes Presley into the family. This is a sweet romance with a beautiful story. The story was well written, and loveable characters. Narration was great.

This book is cute. If you need something light and cute to read this is it. Kat and Scott did an awesome job at narrating

Loved this one

This was a great start to a new series. This is my first read by this author and I will definitely be reading more. This was a great small town, single dad romance brought to life by excellent narrators!

Enjoyable Story

I listened to the audio of this one and really adored this story.
This was my second book by this author and I really enjoy the way the story is written and these characters are so likable.
I loved them and their story!
I can't wait to read more of this series!

A Delight!

This is an interesting type of love story, told predominantly through internal thoughts and from a psychological perspective. I guess that's another way of saying that the MMC fought his mind and his doubts about letting go. Rhett's daughter was born on the same day his wife died, and he's left to raise his sweet Hadley all by himself. He's actually not one bit alone, since his entire family is there whenever he should need them. Presley needed to get out of the city to a slower life where she can connect with her patients with a more relaxed pace. After Hadley has a minor accident, Pressley's the nurse who happened to stitch her up, and her father sees her as an angel who brought a smile back to Hadley's face. He's been alone since his wife died seven years ago, and he sees something in Pressley that has him remembering what it was to feel a person's touch. But Rhett is still struggling and so full of fear, that he can't move forward. When he would start to feel guilty about feeling happy and feeling love, he pushes Presley away in a cold manner. He even has his daughter tearing up because he goes through such an ugly, angry phase, and I began to wish that Presley would leave and find someone who treated her better. It took a little too long, but Rhett finally got his act together and all three of them had a very happy ending.
Kat Auden and Scott Rose did an admirable job with the narration. Their dynamic voices, intonation and the perfect pace brought each of the characters to life.

What a story! Hadley nails it

I am truly loving these small-town romance stories. This story has a sad story woven into Rhett and Pressley's story. Rhett has closed himself off from loving anyone since Summer. Daughter Hadley had an accident and meets Nurse Pressley. Hadley has taken with Pressley and wants to be her best friend. As Rhett and Pressley work through a relationship, Hadley is there to make it even better. Though her calling her dad names when she is mad at him is the best. She said what I was thinking throughout the story. I can't wait until the next books.

The narrators are both newer to me! I thought they were amazing. They nailed it. Esp the Child's voice by Kat Auden.

This book was sweet and sexy at the same time. The love definitely pours off the pages. I definitely recommend.

This is the first book in the Cameron Falls series. This is my first TC Matson book. I loved it! It is a single dad, second chance at romance trope. Rhett is such a swoon worthy cowboy. He is the best dad. I can’t wait for more books in this series. Kay Auden and Scott Rose did an incredible job narrating this book!
