This story starts out so so good, but I didn’t like the ending quite as well. Still a great story with a couple worth rooting for. Camden is an amazing guy. Any girl with a boyfriend or husband like him would be so lucky.

Awesome!!!!

Camden and Layla were always meant to be together. They are both incredibly strong and sweet and deserve to be together. I'm glad they got together in the end.

I loved most of this story. This one had triggered subject like rape. If you can stomach this, you will be able to enjoy the story. That said, I loved the premise of friends to lover. This author did a good job creating the H and h. I really l

Good start

This is a good start to the series and if you've read/listened to A Chance Encounter than this is Easton and Sofia's Sons story so that was a nice surprise. I do wish there was a little more interaction with the band mates/Friends and family but overall it's a good story with some 2nc chance vibes. I did listen to the 2nd one before this so they can be done as a stand alone but I think in order and as a series would be best, Narration is done well.

I am apparently on a friends to lovers kick lately, and I’m not mad about it at all. This one was a little more angsty than what I’ve been reading, because of what Layla had going on in her personal life, but it still hit the sweet spot. A couple that have known each other for years, reconnecting and growing into something beautiful.
Narration was excellent and this hit so perfectly.

okay this was good. I just love the idea of it being about the kids now. this was so good. all grown up and how he kinda ended up like his mom and dad. lol kinda , but this is so cute. Can't wait for the next book. I'm so curious on what she's going to have. but anyways the narrator's did such a good job too.

great book

this book was really good. went from kids to adults. it was great. there was a trigger subject about rape. if you can get through that part you will enjoy this book.

Controlled Chaos

This is the first book in the Love & Lyrics series. This is a spin-off series from A Chance Encounter book. Camden and Layla met when she moved next door in high school. Camden was in love with her that first day. While Layla had no clue. She ended up getting married and having a baby in college. Camden and Layla finally reconnected after five years of not talking to each other. They came back together as if they never had been apart, plus more. The last part of the book definitely had me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for the next book. Marina Barrett and Walker Williams did a fantastic job narrating this book.

good listen

I started this series on the second book and then turned back tot he first one. I'm so happy I got the chance - it made some of the missing pieces clearer.
I really like this world the Nikki Ash built - great characters, and great story.
the narrators did a greta job.

Good Story!

Really enjoyed this book!! The story captured me and pulled at my heartstrings!

The characters are all lovable and I could not stop reading this one.

The audio is very well done!
