Beautiful and hopeful

Narrator ❤️ TD always brings a story to life and is as easy to listen to as summer rain. This story is a wonderful example of working through unimaginable grief and opening your heart to love again. Will seek out more by this author.

Loved it!

This book was really sweet and edgy enough to hold my attention. Loved the characters and narrators. Her books are ajways super enjoyable.

Pretty good.

Pretty good story line. A bit long winded and redundant. I love emotional manly men, but the author did harp on the same things over and over. Sometimes I feel authors will repeat things or drag it on and on just to fill space. So overall I give this book a 3.

Cole, Layla and Harper

Oh my heart... This story will break you apart but slowly piece you back together again. Cole's grief was palpable, heartbreaking and deeply emotional. His love for Layla and trying to be a dad to her was undeniable. But what I loved more than anything is the connection he developed with Harper. She's been there from the start and has stuck by him, no matter what.. I know, i know she was a paid employee but you could just tell that she loved him & Layla and her love was unconditional. This is the first story by KL Shandwick I have indulged myself in and it definitely wont be my last. I am now a fan.

Troy Duran is the BEST. I love listening to him, he could read a receipt and I'd love it. He's phenomenal.

I stuck it out for Troy Duran

I struggled to finish this, and let me tell you,-10 hours of Troy Duran was not the issue. I felt it drug on for longer than it needed to. Not enough sex or romance for me.
I myself have lost someone...and I managed to go to counseling, overcome with support from my family, and move on. 6 YEARS and still whining....just took the whole thing out for me. If I was Harper, I would have never allowed him to treat me the way he did. it's a HEA, but....IDK.

Heartwarming, sexy story

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Some aspects may have been a little predictable, but real life feelings were a major component of the story. Absolutely keep the tissues close by. The narration…Troy Duran could read the phone book and it would be sexy! I believe it’s absolutely worth a credit.

Absolutely loved it!

Seriously could not put it down. Stayed up way too late binging on this one.

Extra Stars Needed

First, Troy Duran can read directions in a recipe and I would melt! He's just wonderful. Without his beautiful narration, Another Life couldn't have shone so brightly.
Secondly, Shandwick writes characters with depth and such fine development that a book really requires to be too notch.
I read a book per day now, either by audiobook or in hand. Too few rate my complete endorsement, but 5 stars can't begin to tell anyone how far superior this one is.
Just do yourself a favor and listen to it.

Another Life

From how hard it is to loose someone you love to fighting to deal with the pain of loss. The joinery back to life and the joy of finding love again. This was a very heart felt and beautiful story. I loves it.
